True but then again, would Brienne really have let Stannis live? She fukn hated him. Unless he revealed some next level chit right as she was about to rek him but doubtful. Also, if he was beheaded, it's not like the fire priests could bring him back (when Arya asked them about Ned) .
I don't think Stannis will return. I think his death was off screen so they could keep viewers guessing like they did with the hound. If they brought back EVERYONE they didn't show dying, then it'd be too predictable.
EDIT: also, if Stannis returned, what would he contribute to the storyline? He has no army, no allegiances, no possible links to the current events. Also, if the rumours are true, there's a limited amount of episodes left. I dunno how they'd fit Stannis back in with all the chit they need to cover. It doesn't even look like they're gonna be able to fit in Dorne, let alone reintroduce a character who is after the iron throne.Last edited by IBench5Pounds; 06-05-2016 at 07:14 PM.

Hopefully Brienne will arrive at the siege and convince the Blackfish to march to Winterfell.
It's pretty bad but i still have a tiny bit of hope for Stannis being alive. they said his name like 5 times this episode.
also im thinking Arya will have no choice but to become a faceless man now. either that or she just dies which would make all her last scenes pretty pointless. maybe she'll be 'reborn' or some **** back in westeros as a faceless man.

When arya walked up to the merchant/sailor he was talking about the iron born having just arrived at the docks... episode ended with arya about to die at the docks. I'd bet any amount of money she runs into theon and he saves her
I always rep back.

Good to see Bronn back
Glad to have Hound back
Predictable as fukk that Sansa realizes she's a dipchit and needs Little Fingers help
With all the characters being brought back its only a matter of time until Gendry flies to Westeros using his hyooge lats. Hopefully they continue to disregard Dorne.PIPPIN: I didn't think it would end this way.
GANDALF: End? No, the journey doesn't end here. Death is just another path, one that we all must take. The grey rain-curtain of this world rolls back, and all turns to silver glass, and then you see it.
PIPPIN: What? Gandalf? See what?
GANDALF: White shores, and beyond, a far green country under a swift sunrise.
PIPPIN: Well, that isn't so bad.
GANDALF: No. No, it isn't.

Bear island knows no king but the king in the north.
Lol little girl was pretty alpha.
Looks like Sansa will call on the Vale. Maybe she can spin it her way as Sweet Robin is her blood.

it's kinda obvious what's going to happen next. arya will overcome the great challenge that she could never overcome and she'll beat the waif (i.e. kill her), then she'll either head to westoros or JacquenBrah will allow her to come back because a gift was given (it's all the same to the many faced god, only death can pay for life, etc.)

Did no one else see Arya do a ninja hop of a ledge right after a scene of the waif looking on for next weeks episode. She's far from dead. Either they're doing a time jump or she got some great healing treatment because she looks perfectly fine in the next episode. Is it possible that Arya had padding in case of an attack and the injury isn't as bad as it looks?

Nah, she won't return. The reason she left in the first place was because of being unable to put her moral code behind her and to unconditionally serve the many faced god. She def won't return to the faceless men in the way she was before. At the very best, Jaquon will train her a little further and she will give the names 1 by 1 to the many faced god but she won't be a permanent servant. That or when she kills the waifu, the debt will be paid and Jaquon will let her be on her way

The High Sparrow called out HBB Maergary about not fukking the king. He knows that she is withholding sex as a means to control King Tommen.
The Sparrow told that sloot she better spread them legs or he's going to spread her grandmas angus in one of his pits.
She went to her grandma and gave her the rose to remind her that she's got this chit so she needs to head on out.
Arya is for sure going to survive. Theon will run into her and save her ass at the last minute. That way Theon will come full ciricle and be totally redeemed.
This episode was 10/10 classic Game of Thrones slow paced but intriguing as fukk

The Hound's arrival was one of the top moments of the season, and bringing Bronn back was perfection. I especially appreciated the change in scenery this time around because it had some of the most standout locations (Riverrun + Mormont castle). The Lannister backhand completed it as one of, if not my single favorite episode of the season.
When Ayra was walking through the city streets, my hunch was that (by the next episode) she'll run into that actress to take her in because she's the only "ally" she has left in Braavos.
That stabbing certainly gave Red Wedding flashbacks, though, but maybe they wenta little too hardcore because that was a pretty bad wound to recover from, let alone jump into a waterway and evade Waify. I'm just happy the old Ayra is back with some attitude again instead of being a dull assassin in training.
*Bonus* Seems like there is more to have in common with Yara than Theon now.
If they're heading to the Mother of Speeches and Euron want's to tail them, his new fleet might come to blows with Dany at some point.
I recall reading that they didn't show Stannis' death because it was too excessive in terms of violence, but for real?
You're right, though. The Hound's return was actually an exciting, fist-pump moment because we already saw a shift towards redemption when he was with Ayra. When we finally see him, it's as a more humbled man doing regular work. That is how you do a surprise reveal without feeling formulaic. Stannis went the opposite direction after sacrificing Shireen.
That is not to say it couldn't be cool if they brought him back in a manner that doesn't feel like a repetition and still holds some weight (e.g. him revealing something crazy to Brienne that gives her a reason to let him live), but it seems unlikely.
I really hope those rumors was just rumors to keep people antsy and perhaps see the reaction/demand for more seasons because they've been setting up all these stories that simply cannot be resolved in a satisfying manner in one quick, clean breeze.I will stand firm, I refuse to kneel - The fury in me is divine

I just had an awesome idea. The faceless men are fight club. The waif has been Arya the whole time. She's the violent, resentful part of her psyche. Arya has to kill that part of herself to get back Westoros. She's wasn't really stabbed, it's all in her head. That's how she was looks fine in the next episode.

Man, I still got some residual hate for Theon for being a prick. But cot dayumit man, you can only see someone get kicked/tortured so much until you're like alright bro, dat's enough I got feels for ya.
One of his favorite things back when he had a dink was fukkin. To go through all that chit, have your dink chopped off, then to finally get away and wound up in a brothel where your sister has more sexual drive than you, fuark man. Talk about kickin a man when he is down even more."We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then, is not an act, but a habit." -Will Durant

Stannis has been confirmed as dead by like 3 characters so far...one of them being the person who did the killing.
Nobody said they saw the Hound die. Only person who was there actually said she left him to die...big difference.
Though to this day I don't understand why they didn't show the kill shot on Stannis.

Kinda wish arya would have died. Too many characters are being brought back after being thought dead.
