Random question: what are your views on taking 2 weeks off? Is it so bad? I will probably be going to visit my sister for 2 weeks (sometime soon) and there's no gym around. Would bodyweight stuff and just staying active be okay?

Two weeks off is fine, sometimes better than fine. It might take a week or two to get back into the groove when you come back, but you're not going to lose strength in two weeks.

Just keep your diet and rest in check. I took two weeks off back in August, most of which was spent visiting family out of state, but I regressed a little as my diet sucked and I lost weight. It took a short while to get back to where I was. Not too bad really.

I am just getting back into it after two weeks off (not by choice) and things feels a little wierd but not to bad. The weight feels heavier than it should but that might also be bc I haven't had any creatine for two weeks also.

Honestly, whatever you lose is going to be minimal. Unless you fast for 2 weeks and have an amputation or 3.

Many of us would probably be better off if we weren't so stubborn and took 2 weeks off once in a while.

I just love training. But I'd love to get away from Canada and see my sister, too.

I think so long as I'm eating alright it'll be okay.

Been tempted to take a couple of weeks off so I can work like 14 hours a day.

Pretty tempting, especially considering I don't get paid OT

Can't wait to get to the gym tomorrow. Have all this pent up agression that I need to take out. Plus new mp3 means I get to listen to what I want again instead of stupid oldies or new hip hop bull****.

    Probably doing it right lol.
I wear wrist wraps when I do them heavy. And I don't wear wrist wraps for bench, so that should be a dead giveaway.

JMO, but I don't think it's worth it. I had so many friends study that and then never use it later on in life.

It'll be beneficial if you want to be a sports doctor or something. But what else would you use it for?
