Here's some stuff that I didn't see anyone put in their Best of 2013 list but were favorites of mine. Most of these were posted awhile back. Don't really have time to dig around for artwork and write reviews, but if you're into the boom-bap you'll dig all of this. As a lifelong hip hop head, some of these tracks blew me away. A lot of it easily rivals the best of 1993.

i havn't bumped much of the new album 'Peace Kehd' only because i prefer to wait for the vinyl and listen to albums in full thata way. but from the few songs i've heard i can already say i like it more than hark. i love how these cats make a video for literally every song too. this ones probably my favorite video..dope song too:

Alright, you asked for it
Roc Marc - Pimpire/Merci
Shame on u bob for not giving Roc a nod!
Epidemic - Somethin
Doppelgangaz - Hark
Cole - Born Sinner
Dis is one of those albums that came out and me and mah friends bumped non stop.
I kid. Not really a huge J Cole fan, but I do appreciate him giving TLC some work. Creep is my jam. Dat horn. (No homo)
Joey Bad - Summer Knights
Ghost did his thing on this tape and I love his choice of producers. Consistently good album. I think I prefer the Apollo Brown version for what it's worth.
Bronson - Saab stories / BC2
Gibbs - ESGN
Prodigy - Einstein
Czarface
Son... glad to hear you're at least back on the KRIT bandwagon.
Dom Kennedy – Get Home Safely
Billy Woods - Dour CandyIf it don't touch my soul then I can't listen to it.

here's my top list of 2013, in no specific order. if you haven't listened to any of this yet i strongly recommend it. i'm not going to track down links for all of these (most of them have been posted before) but please ask if you're interested in something.
Klaus Layer - The Adventures Of Captain Crook
Inspectah Deck & 7L & Esoteric
Ta-Ku - Dowhatyoulove
K-Def - One Man Band
The Doppelgangaz - Hark
Black Milk - No Poison No Paradise

Denmark Vessey & Scud One - Cult Classic
Sean Born & Dunc of DTMD - Organic
Damu The Fudgmunk - Spur Momento Trailer
Oddisee - Tangible Dream
Ghostface Killah - 12 Reasons To Die
i find myself listening to Apollo Brown's version more but i have equal or more respect for Adrian Younge's original production on this joint.
all 3 cassettes released by Jonwayne probably belong somewhere in that list as well.
