TODAY/UPDATE
-I woke up sore as **** and exhausted so I did what I have been doing these past Fridays and I slept in a bit more. I woke up feeling a **** load better. Yes sir. Ate some eggs and leftover whole wheat pasta... yum yum.
-Just downed some creatine/protein... getting my work in at the internship... and all that jazz...
-Ah the end of HIGH rep week... time for lower reps and heavier weights next week
-This weekend I have a funeral (someone on my wife's side passed away unfortunately) then I'm going to my schools homecoming to hopefully lift my spirits... then the Panthers/Redskins game this Sunday.
-I have one day of AT left. I have a few extra capsules of AA that will last me until around Monday/Tuesday. So far I've been very pleased as always with the results and will post those in more detail Monday.
-Just resting up and recovering all weekend with as much football as possible. I'm also gonna start planning out a few things to "fine tune" the machine as my buddy RJ calls it. Hope everyone has a GREAT weekend.Magnum Nutraceuticals BB.com Forum Manager & Lead Sales Representative

Thanks bro.
Yeah the homecoming game should be good and hopefully will place us up in the ACC. My undergrad is also having homecoming as well... I won't be at that one though... maybe another time. I'm actually going to the Panthers game. We are getting there very early because we know how crazed redskins fans are haha.
Winna winna it was VERY good too.Magnum Nutraceuticals BB.com Forum Manager & Lead Sales Representative

Congrats to your Panthers. Weren't they down 17-2 in the second half? The 'Skins always shoot themselves in the foot, lol.

Some how I missed this post. Thanks Broc he enjoyed it. He always asks about ya up in the coal town up there.
That's a pretty good combo as well...
Glad to have ya GRL. Always appreciate the support. Welcome aboard and feel free to comment on anything you're seeing.
Ooo you just know the right things to say to me. Remember just a few more months till the Arnold.
Definitely had a great weekend... hopefully you did as well.
Yeah a lot of funerals. Sad times. Condolences as always my friend. We've had a string of stuff like that going on here as well.
They did.
Damn. I hate to hear that and once again, condolences and prayers my friend.
Thanks IF. They were down 17-5 as far as I remember. Your redskins were only scoring on turnovers... we had 2 big ones that were within our own 10 yard line so the skins were just right there. 2nd half we looked much better and seemed to be clicking. Peppers finally WOKE up... running game looked A LOT better... Steve Smith was making plays...Magnum Nutraceuticals BB.com Forum Manager & Lead Sales Representative

Friday's Session
Target Group: Legs/Arms 2
Performed in: >50 minutes (I was running LATE!!!)
Sets x Reps (Weight, if listed)
Shrug Cleans: Warmup; 5x8 ...I actually went heavier than I have before...WORN OUT!
SM Front Squats: 4x12 ...Actually went a little heavier than I thought I would...these were burning and felt GREAT
Hack Squats: 4x15 ...I opted for these over the stepups and so forth due to time constraints...these were still tough and hadn't done 'em in a while. Felt great.
*SUPERSET*
Seated Calf Raises: 4x15-20 ...very slow and controlled reps while holding contractions...calves are BURNING
Skullcrushers: 4x15 ...stayed at a good amount of weight and really just focused on the movement...had a GREAT pump in my arms...
Ez Bar Scott Curls: 4x12-15 ...INSANE stretch/pump in my bis...I also did 1/4 reps at the end of the final rep in each set...
Thoughts
-After a day at BB&T I was hungry for the gym... I went in and did a VERY quick session as I was suddenly called and invited for Mexican food. Yes sir... hell of a workout and a great post workout meal. Ended the high rep week on a high note and felt really good about it. Even though I only did one move for tris and one for bis I still felt really pumped and good. My legs have been sore all weekend so I know I definitely did something right and my arms have been doing the same.
-This weekend was FULL of football and FULL of me being on the run the entire time. Went back and forth to Charlotte, attended the funeral, had an amazing cheese steak sandwich, back home to see my college team play (it was a killer night game), then back to Charlotte bright and early for the Panthers game...got back late and was exhausted. I also felt like a cold/sinus problem was arising so I took some nyquil and called it a night.
-Had a really great weekend but it was very exhausting and I've been congested and so forth.Magnum Nutraceuticals BB.com Forum Manager & Lead Sales Representative

15 rep hacks, tahts gotta burn so bad
musta been tiring running all over the state like that, but well worth it to see 2 wins for your teams. No more 0 on the board for the panthers
i love mexican food, need to find some good places around here. r u originally from carolina, or just been cheering for the panthers since being down there for school?

Thanks BPP. It seriously was a good leg burn and really felt it all weekend.
It definitely burned... but yeah it was the finale of the high rep week so I just busted 'em out... our hack squat machine sucks at my gym and is literally falling apart so it was a battle to get 15 reps w/o the machine locking up on me as it usually does. It locked up mid set during the 3rd set and I thought I was gonna die haha
Yeah it was VERY tiring and exhausting to say the least. I'll get to rest a few weekends in a row now though which I can't wait for. Definitely was a good week for all my teams but my bulldogs who got crushed. Oh well.
Yeah mexican food's great... I always order the ACP (it's like a grilled chicken breast on top of a plate of rice with peppers, onions, and cheese melted on top )
I was born in GA but have been raised/lived in Carolina for the rest of my years minus the one year I spent in VA for school before I transferred. I've always cheered for the Panthers even when they've sucked... no fair weatheredness here.
Thanks A. Yeah Mexican was great and definitely felt perfect post workout. Got in my nutrients and got my grow on.
I do from time to time and if I hit a PR I always list it. Lately I've steered away from posting the numbers as sometimes it becomes more of a numbers game than a BBing game. I know what I'm putting up for my own needs and that keeps me sane for now.
I don't want to detract anything from my workouts and I don't like being caught up in the numbers game. If that makes sense.Magnum Nutraceuticals BB.com Forum Manager & Lead Sales Representative

Monday update
Monday Update
-Well after a long exhausting weekend, I slept in and woke up feeling better than I did. If ya didn't know I've been feeling a little congested, sore throat, and my sinuses as usual love to act up around this time. I took some Nyquil and just rested up. I've been trying to get in more fluids as well lately to make up for it. I opted for a day of rest to try and combat anything that may or may not be coming on.
-Animal Test has finally concluded. So I'll be starting my post Animal Test stack today as well...
-I also have checked in with my trainer and have started a new diet as of today. Basically it limits my carbs to 200 grams throughout the week and keeps 'em to clean sources (i.e. oats, sweet potatoes). I've done a half-ass job on weekends following any plan so that's all changing now. Should provide a nice recomp and I'll be starting his recommend training regime for strength/recomp as well. I'll be starting the new training program this week and opting out of the last 3 weeks of heavy training under this football training--merely because it will mimic a lot of the style of training I'll be doing.
-I'm looking for some natural BBing shows around here in NC so if you know of any please PM me the details of 'em.
-This week is also my fall break week so I'll be able to get a lot more rest than usual and more solid quality meals as well. I'll also be catching up on A LOT of the assignments that I've been putting off as well.
-Starting things off right and I'm looking forward to the rest of the week. I'll be trying to beat this cold/congestion deal as well so things should continue to hopefully improve as they have been.Magnum Nutraceuticals BB.com Forum Manager & Lead Sales Representative
