so a few of you may remember that my hip has been bothering me a for a while. gym got a new torture device... a mini volleyball. it's bigger than softball, and has a little give but it's still pretty firm. so... try it out on my hip last saturday before i squat and i got a pretty small pop and a warming sensation. no pain at all. i was finally able to squat pain free.
rolled it same way again yesterday after bench and got a bigger pop and more warming sensation.. but still absolutely no pain.
what could give? it's a hip flexor that is right inside the iliac crest. right on the medial side.

honestly bro, ive been dealing with hip flexor issues for a year and half and theyre just ****ing strange. I get weird tightness and feelings and then sometimes roll and it will be perfect like you mentioned, then next thing you know it acts up. I had a training partner who had similar issue that seems to forever last, hopefully not mine or your case.. I should just get a single ply squat suit or briefs and make spfjudge proud

If you goto Russia make sure you try some Krocodil or w/e.

Would prefer to not have parts of my body start eating themselves from the inside out, dat VICE special was groce. Some of their shows are awesome though like the cannibal warlords and the other crazy drug stories where they turn you into a completely willing and helpful party in anything they ask you to do. I remember one of the stories of someone getting drugged and waking up the next day in their apartment and being told by the lobby clerk that he and some "friends" moved EVERYTHING out of his apartment the night before and he didn't remember a damn thing. He apparently told the clerk that it was all ok and he was helping them steal his stuff from him.

I just finished the last day of the 3rd week of sheiko 29 and I think the training is starting to really catch up to me. Felt like dog crap the entire time and I had to cut the heavy sets in half because I was grinding each and every rep. Would it be a good idea to finish up this cycle, deload, and test maxes? or just keep going through sheiko 37 like most people do?
