AFSOC TACPs provide terminal attack control and fire support expertise for all three Ranger Battalions, the 75th Ranger Regiment's Reconnaissance Company, and all four active duty CONUS Special Tactics Squadrons.
i guess its like seals, you have regular seals and the elite devgru guys. in this case devgru = afsoc tacps who are deployed with 75th ranger, special forces ect. i always used to think tacp was spec ops but i was wrong.-BALTIMORE RAVENS-ORIOLES-TCUFOOTBALL-SPURS-

That feel when you finance a newer vehicle and then PCS, only to find out that the lemon lot has some real dimes for cheap.

For some people they're not as lucky to just walk into a clean slate. I knew a kid in my Basic training flight who's mom had cancer, and they couldn't afford to come see him graduate. We pulled some money together and sent it home for him, best feeling in my life so far.
USAA refunds up to $15 a month back to you for ATM fee's. Also pays you a day early, or that friday before depending on how the days fall.
Again, what's your AFSC going to be lol?
She didn't finish her CCAF yet, still has a few more classes. And has also been on station for only like 8 months, so there's like nothing I can do. All I can do is try and help her win quarterly awards by attempting to write them and networking with people who can write better than me lol.Soda free/Pork free

I have sort of a tricky question.
I'm planning on joing the Air National Guard here in a few months. Some of my family have health problems / are getting old, and the Air Guard will give me military experience while still being there to take care of them (with exception to BMT, tech school, and deployments of course).
Anyway, I know the Air Force / ANG / Reserves don't have a SMP program like Army/Nat'l Guard does...
My question is:
How difficult is it / would it be to obtain a conditional release from the ANG to join AFROTC?
I've always been interested in becoming an officer and going for retirement, but shipping out after 2 years of ROTC (I have an associate's) just isn't an option right now. I don't want to get morbid but like I said I need to be here for the next few years.
Appreciate any help or advice.Last edited by Highinthegym; 08-12-2013 at 07:45 PM.

not hard at all....that's what I did actually. You don't officially leave the guard until you're commissioned out of ROTC, so you still have weekend training unless they waive you which is what my cadre pushed for, but you still get guard pay and college benefits. That ALSO means you can still deploy if the ANG needs you to, and that means putting school and ROTC on hold. Luckily that didn't happen to me.
Also the usual guard contract is 6 years. I did 2 years of guard before ROTC so it panned out nicely and I didn't break any service requirements*No bulge because micropenis crew*

Yeah I forget that most of America lives above their means. That one paycheck of $587 is enough for me to live off of for a month. Societies standards of living is exponentially increasing and has been for hundreds of years.
(If someone is helping their family with medical bills than that's a different story.)
Learn from people in 3rd world countries and you'll learn quickly how to make your money go farther.
BTW I got assigned the Mechanical Aptitude area. I'll be getting my specific job in basic so I hear.Last edited by graciejjbrazil; 08-12-2013 at 08:19 PM.
