*Talks about how the story is great, but you have to have a high IQ to understand the genius behind it*
*Proceeds to post complete illogical crap, proving that he has no actual knowledge about the lore*
Jon would absolutely be accepted as a Targaryan King. He is already King in the North which means that he holds support there as well as from the Vale. Dorne, the only powerful Kingdom which hasn't been completely decimated, has been PLOTTING to put a Targaryan back on the throne this entire time, so in reality they would LOVE the fact that he is Rhaegar's heir. Even recently legitimized Gendry would obviously back him with the Stormlands, as they have camaraderie and Gendry clearly respects him. So who do you have that would oppose his rule? Yara and her 10 ships LMAO? Euron held virtually all of the Iron Fleet and he got decimated.
We all know that Jon doesn't want to rule. The issue isn't that he didn't get chosen to sit on the Iron Throne, its that somehow literally NO ONE even brought his name up into the conversation even though literally half the people "voting" have seen him show compassion, honour, etc. countless times and have proclaimed hard-ons for "Jon Snow" the man (like Davos). Instead of his name even coming up at all, within minutes they all just agree that Bran should be King? The guy who literally a few episodes ago basically claimed that he lives in his own little world and isn't even "human" anymore? And why would all those random houses agree to Bran? None of them know anything about the "Three Eyed Raven" (and even if they did it would rightfully creep them out), so in reality he is just a mute cripple to them with zero qualification. His own sister (Sansa) would get more support as she at least has experience as a ruler.
And who gives a **** about what the Unsullied or Dothraki want? They are the foreigner army of a failed ruler, so why would anyone take their opinion into account as they hold literally zero claim or voting right in Westeros? You are telling me that the uber-proud Northmen are going to "bend the knee" to the demands of Grey Worm LMAO? The North would GLADLY go to war over Jon Snow, in fact, the whole thing about him being imprisoned and no one doing anything about it was absurd. "Our appointed King - sorry but we just can't do anything, Grey Worm says that you need to be punished for doing the right thing and saving us all" LOL. Then the Unsullied just up and sail away, so what exactly was the point of upholding the "punishment" of Jon Snow LMAO?Last edited by metafour; 05-20-2019 at 03:44 PM.

I liked the major points (nk being defeated, dany going crazy, jon snow kills her), everything else was below par and riddled with plot holes or plain retarded
Jon snow finally fullfills azor ahai/lightbringer prophecy
tempered blade in water => defeating white walkers didnt save the kingdom
tempered blade in heart of a lion => defeating cersei (lannisters sigil is lion) didnt save kingdom
tempered blade in nissa nissa => killing dany "saved the kingdom", broke the wheel
I'm sure in the books itll play out better. This season was 20 episodes jammed into 6 and D&D know fuk all of what GRRM does
I just wish the last scene with dany and jon had more emotion. She literally got stabbed and died 2 seconds later. Contrast with red wedding where robb stands up after he gets shot with 10 arrows or when nights watch killed jon snow and he got stabbed 5 times and still gets a word out or even when ygritte died$0 or $1 million crypto crew

Greyworm got stabbed similarly when fighting the Harpies. Fine the next day. Jon shot with 3 arrows, no prob. The hound basically turned inside out by Brienne, doing strongman with logs over his head next season. The list is infinite...
Yes, shot with an arrow when Ramsey made him run across the field to start the Battle of the Bastards.

I got a question...I've seen some people touching on it ITT....
Was there any implication that the Night King was reason for winter, or is there still going to be a "long winter" even with him gone?
They didn't really depict any massive storm coming. At the end of Season 7 you saw snowfall in the South but then the weather looked fine in the finale (except the wall of course).
lmao that same thought came into my head. I was just like "nice, she's showing more range with her emotions."

Jon Snow:
1. Rightful heir to the Iron Throne - Varys sacrificed his life to let the realm know this in the previous episode
2. Saved all of humanity from the NK because he was the only one who cared
3. Saved hundreds of thousands more innocent people by killing the woman he loved
And not a single fcking person at the council, which included 3 of his family members, tried to make the case that he should be the king? Because a slave solider without a cock from a different country said he needed to be punished?
So they sent him to the Night's Watch, which has no reason to exist anymore as punishment? And then Grey Worm fcked right off back to Naath and he's still punished?
This is how the wrote the ending of the main character? The Ice in the Song of Ice and Fire?
Lmao just lmao. Anyone defending this chit is literally retarded

The episode was a mess but it makes sense that Greyworm was in a position of power at the end. Dany made him "Master of War" or something before she died.
Tbh...that scene of her speaking on the steps would have been a great launch pad for a REAL Mad Queen story. I thought the speech part was really good.ωσяℓ∂ тяανєℓєя ȼяєω

first off yeah the whole scene was retarded but if jon snow was made king im pretty sure dorne, the iron islands, the dothraki, and the unsullied wouldve rioted because he killed their queen
second he didnt want the throne. he just wants to live out the rest of his days in peace with the freefolk
Just lol if you think hes staying at the nights watch. they literally show him going north with the freefolk$0 or $1 million crypto crew

Winter's have come and gone throughout the history - nothing to do with the Night King (he's not even in the books). Seasons in Westeros are always of varying lengths, could last months to years, but going by what the show said with regards to the Night King and Winter (which isn't much), I guess as long as he was around it would have stayed.
When Jon was beyond the wall they showed one bit of green sprouting up so I guess it's over now1977
