Introducing MUSCLESPEED™ v3 (MS3)! You saw it here first folks. Officially announced, for the first time anywhere, in Gracie’s thread!
Bottle/label Changes
• Switch to a 250cc bottle – 50cc more to accommodate more material
• MS3 can be distinguished over MS2 from the silver band at the bottom which reads “ Dramatically Explodes Neuromuscular Performance” and the changes to the Supplement Facts
Ingredient profile changes
Hard decisions had to be made with MS3. Given the limitations of costs and the capacity to cram material in the tabs, only the ingredients with the highest ‘impact’ made the cut. Also, some ingredients were too good to pass-up and made their way in MS3. So, after much debate and careful consideration, here are the changes to the formula:
• Vit C & E were removed in favor of other materials (or increased dosages) that better addressed the products objectives. Besides, most people get enough through their diets and some even supplement with these.
• Beta Alanine was increased. The max MS dose would still be about 33% lower than the dosages used in a popular study. The original intent was to remove BA, but that would have been a mistake since BA increases Carnosine levels over time. So, it tends to accumulate in muscle. MS comes in tabs, thus taking a little longer to dissolve and absorb, it’s possible that your body may make better use of the BA vs using a powder. In addition, if the product is used as directed, the max daily dose (4 tabs) should be staggered with the second dose after about 5 hours. This should help with BA uptake. The real limitation with further upping BA is the size of the tabs.
• Caffeine Anhydrous was reduced by 25mg/dose . With MS2, using of up to 4 tabs/day would bring the benefits of caffeine at the threshold limit of what research suggests is beneficial. Crossing that point may negatively impact performance. However, for some it may already get in the way… A reduction of 25mg guarantees the maximum benefit this ingredient. Caffeine, perhaps more than some other ingredients, right dosing is key.
• PC (derived from purified lecithin) was replaced in favor of much higher Acetyl-L-Carnitine dosage. ALCAR is more effective at raising acetylcholine levels than PC. It also has some amazing properties. See the Science page for more details: http://www.musclespeed.net/Speed-Supplement-Science.htm
• N-Acetyl-Tyrosine was upped significantly as it a better precursor to dopamine, epinephrine, and norepinephrine than Vit C
• Geranium Oil Extract was replaced with DLPA. Geranium oil (Methylhexanamine or 1,3 D..)is specifically mentioned in the WADA 2010. DLPA has some very interesting properties: reduces chronic pain, fights depression, muscle cramps, soreness, and migraines through the release of endorphins. It acts as a pain killer and gives you a euphoric feeling. Results improve with use.
• R-ALA is now exclusively used in MS3. The R-form is more useful to the body than the S-Isomer. By switching exclusively to the R-Form, we dramatically increased the usable dose of ALA in MS3 vs MS2 .
• NAC was introduced to MS3 because enhances muscle cysteine and glutathione availability and attenuates fatigue during prolonged exercise in endurance-trained individuals. NAC is known for its positive effects on muscle trauma caused by lifting weights or intense cardio training. This highly bio-available form L-cysteine assists in combating exercise-induced damage to muscle tissue, it also helps detoxify the liver, build connective tissue, fight viral infections, helps fight ageing, and aids in joint health. You guys will be able to read more on the product site when the changes are uploaded by the end of the week.
• Capsicum annuum was added to the new formula to improve digestion, increase thermogenesis, act as an anti inflammatory, reduce pain, and much more…
I believe this sums up all the changes. The end result is a superior product with research significant dosages. The exception, of course, is the BA but for the reasons that were previously stated. All the materials used in MS3 (and previous versions) are of the highest quality and potency available for maximum effectiveness. In order to preserve the effectiveness of the product, it is manufactured in small batches with exp dates which are almost 2 years away. It doesn’t get fresher than that! Also, MS3 costs a little over 10% more to manufacture vs Ms2 but will sell for the same price. 2010 sales should be significantly higher vs 2009 and the difference will be made through higher volume of sales. As always, the product is guaranteed satisfaction for 90-days.
Any way, I just want to thank you guys because it’s feedback from people like you (including the reps, and other athletes)that drive the evolution of the product. Just in 2009, about 50 people got to log MUSCLESPEED and post about their experience with the product.
If you guys have any question you can post or PM me directly. My PM box is finally cleaned out!
Wishing everybody the best of the holiday season and in incredible new year!

IMO, the best one yet!
Yeah, I can't wait for you to try it either! I got word earlier that manufacturing just shipped out MS3. I expect it to arrive at the warehouse around mid next week. By the end of next week, your bottles should ship right to your door. Curious development: Because bb.com is about to run of of MS2, a small qty was shipped to them Fed-Ex next day service. So, by tomorrow evening, all bottles shipped from bb.com will be MS3.
Yeah, I'm kinda sad about the Geranium as well. It could not be avoided right now. Not only does MS attract fighters, bb'ers, PL'er, but the track guys have taken a liking to it as well, and thus my headaches for the last few months! . DLPA will do a lot more for serious athletes...
One thing though: We did not have enough time to BSCG certify the product due to the delays, and as such, are making no claims as to the product's compliance with WADA. In light of recent events, I think that no company can make that claim unless their product is continuously certified by a reputable authority in testing. Cross-contamination of the raw materials can, and does sometimes happen, regardless of all the measures taken.
Any way, MS3 will kick ass!Accelerative Nutraceuticals

Oh and yes I'm jealous of the new bench and squat rack GracieRIP Josh Mapp

I got the new apt today but I want actually be moving for another 4 weeks! That bike doesn't see much other then the trainer! LOL It's a good basic road bike but I much prefer the trail bikes, even for the roads. I have Tammaso Advance series race bike but I only ride it when I race,, spends most of it's time in storage.

Thanks! It's a nice set up for home,, I thought about going with a straight up power rack, a cage but I do my heavy lifting in the gym so I didn't think it was necessary. I just like having something at home for days when I cann't get in the gym or ya know the occasional middle of the night need to workout that I sometimes get!.

I do always make a point of reminding people that any time you take a sup requardless of it's certification there is a small risk of being popped on drug test.. sometimes the supps even when they are not a banned substance will look like one and on occasions but rarely it will cause a false positive.
And different testers look for different things. It's always important to check with the group/federation whoever does the testing .. to see what they look for and what's ok before choosing a supplement.

I love the gym environment ,, most days,, LOL but having a set up at home is just a life saver some days!! I've had weeks when one of the kids was sick or whatever and it was near to impossible to go the gym.. or like this week when were stuck in cause of weather.. It's just nice to have the availability of equipment sitting in my livingroom. I'm so willing to fore go a few furnishings for it!
