Thanks for the insight! Looks like it goes hand in hand regardless of GPU like you said. Do you propose that I drop the 1060 into the i7?
I figured I'll do that then start over with other rig.
Also, If I were to go for a good i5 mated with a good MOBO and memory, Can anyone recommend a setup in a budget?

It's actually better to go AMD for a budget build.
Ryzen 2600 + B450 + 8/16gb DDR4.
Or if you would like it even cheaper you can go for Ryzen 2400G.
PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant
CPU: AMD - Ryzen 5 2600 3.4 GHz 6-Core Processor ($164.89 @ OutletPC)
Motherboard: Asus - TUF X470-PLUS GAMING ATX AM4 Motherboard ($99.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: Corsair - Vengeance LPX 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory ($63.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $328.87
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

A X470 board was even cheaper than an ok B450 board.
Of course this can vary depending on where you buy it.
(I went from i5 3570K @ 4.5GHz to a Ryzen 2600X and it was an insane difference.)

I play alot of PUBG and I get alot of fps drops when in fights, Usually hover around 70 fps otherwise with everything at the lowest. Whats causing my terrible fps drops or do i need to upgrade some parts? Which ones brehs?

I did a micro build last year. Idk full itx just didn't offer the stuff I wanted. Pretty happy with my mitx but my gpu gets hot af with the overclock. Mitx still let me use a corsair h100i for the cpu. Used the corsair air 240 case.

Damn, For that price of an upgrade of a build, I think I'll mate those with the 1060 and PSU I already have and that'll do for a good while at least! Thanks a lot for the help!
Thanks a lot for the insight! The budget isn't much to be honest but MrJensenn nailed it with the suggested affordable upgrade that would be right up my alley if I wanted to add to the rig I correctly have. And I think I'll go that route and drop the 1060 in the i7 rig until the upgrades are complete.
Thanks again guys!☆ ☆ QUEBEC CREW ☆ ☆

For my ITX build I used a Phanteks Evolv Shift case, with a "blower style" RTX 2070 (not founder's edition, but similar fan design) to help exhaust heat out the top of the case (GPU mounts vertically in that case).
I do have an AIO 120mm for the CPU in it. That case is what I'd consider intermediate to advanced to build in though.. routing the wiring can be somewhat convoluted. Looks amazing when done though. I used a DeepCool "Captain" RGB 120mm AIO for my Ryzen 5 2600. Does a great job."That boulder is too large. I could lift a smaller one."

back in the day, they were the GOAT.
now they're still just as good, but prices have risen and availability is limited, so they're not as clear cut of winners
eBay always has been and will be the best place to buy them
post your computer specs, what you use it for (gaming, youtube, rendering, etc), and a budget for a monitor and I'll throw some suggestions
old monitor, or new one?+++ Positive Crew +++

The new one suggested to me earlier. Took it directly to my local best buy and they tested it experienced the same result and ordered me a new one. Will be available next Friday.

You know what though man. Since I started PC building like 6-7 years ago, I've never recieved a DOA part. This was my first ever. I was even expecting my Asus 2070 Rog Strix to come ****ed up because I read a lot of people had recieved faulty ones but it was fine.
So I can't be to upset. My luck, paradoxically enough, is good when it comes to PC parts .190lbs Comp lifts: 420/350/600 USAPL

I feel that. I've had excellent PC buying experiences until these latest crappy Pixio monitors came into the picture
anyways, debating going back to SLI.... was not impressed with my SLI 970s about 3 years ago, but I can get 2 1080tis cheaper than a single 2080ti... and am thinking it might be worth trying
it seems like Apex and Fortnite both have some issues with utilizing SLI tho and I'm not sure if I want that headache+++ Positive Crew +++

Yeah i made this thread recently
https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showt...hp?t=176786871
But i hope y'all can understand where i was coming from...
So anyways anyone here fw laptops?!?!?! [Past experiences/any alternatives to consider]
Ideally something lightweight that doesn't attract too much attention to carry on the go
Not fluent in specs and such but i wouldn't mind something that can at least do 60fps/1080p w/o overheating to play games every now and then

SLI master race incoming
guy sold me 2 for $1,125.00 shipped
thinking I'll go with the Corsair 750D airflow edition case... i7-9700k... 32gb ddr4 3200 ram or something
dunno I'll post it when we go
if anyone has suggestions for good airflow cases or setups, please let me know. I've been reading about bottom and side panel fans, and ones where people mount the PSUs up top. considering all options right now.
also if anyone knows of a good MOBO to space out 2.5 slot cards, that'd be good too since I know air cooled SLI 1080tis are gonna get super hotLast edited by PositiveCrew; 02-11-2019 at 03:23 PM.
