did workout B today, was stuck at deadlifts 135 lb and today I hit a PR of 195 doing this new method.

I'm Italian and I've always had prosciutto wrapped around melon. Sounds weird, but it's really good.

I don't know about prosciutto, but I always enjoy sliding my salami around and between some nice Italian melons.

thanks boss, yeah I was starting to get really discouraged and went from going 4-5x a week to gym to only 2-3x cause I wasn't making any more progress, now this has given me that huge motivation boost and I already can't wait til tomorrow.

I was at the gym until I had to go to class and didn't get a shake in before class but i ate a 21g protein bar so that's still fine right

Dayum!! Slow up in here today!!!

Get to gym and see waste basket outside. Owner says whatever you do do not go into middle dressing rooms bathroom. Someone threw up and it got all over the place. Said he almost puked himself. Wife came in later with a tub of clorox and stuff to clean it up with. YUCK!!!!!!!


So I am working out and had earbuds in. Noticed this young girl come in who was really overweight and looked totally lost and kinda wandering. I noticed her watching me as I was moving around from exercise to exercise. She goes and gets on the abduction machine and even over my earbuds I hear her slamming the weight. So I take my earbuds out and walk over and the guy beside me (who she came in with) says she aint got a clue what she is doing. I said well you should be showing her instead of letting her do it wrong and hurt herself or get embarrassed. She didnt have it unlocked so I went over to show her how to do it. "Am I doing it wrong". I told her yes and showed her how to do it and she said she had surgery on her hip before so she couldn't stretch too far. She was unable to even go shoulder width??? I told her she may want to find something else to do since she couldnt really use that machine. So I showed her some of the other machines to use. Looked up and she was gone a few minutes later.

When I finished session she was in the aerobics room sitting in the corner playing on her phone. I asked her what she was doing hiding in the corner and she said she was tired plus she didn't know what to do. Told her not to worry she will figure it out. Told her to start off with to go to the womens side and use some of the machines because they were pretty easy to figure out. Told her what times I go to the gym and introduced myself and let her know if she wanted me to help her through a few exercises to get her familiar with everything I would be glad to help.

Makes me upset when these ladies come in with these guys and the guys just do their thing and leave the girls to wander around and have no clue what to do. They usually sit on the ab machine and work abs. I have been a newb in the gym and I know how intimidating it can be working out in a new place not having a clue what you are doing!

guy hands me an estimate and proceeds to tell me that I need bearings in my front left wheel : 300 bucks

ooooookkkk so today I drove my car out to my mechanic where I used to live and took a taxi home
this guy has been working on our vehicles for over ten years
I trust him because he will not only tell me what is wrong now but any problems that may develop in future

he took a look at all four of my wheels and said they were perfectly fine
ha! a twenty dollar taxi ride just saved me 300 bucks or 280 depending on how ya look at it
