Lol, nah. If I go under the speed limit, I stay in the right lane. To quote carlin, "I don't have pet peeves, I have major psychotic f*cking hatreds" and that extends to poor drivers. I usually see crackers in trucks or guys in sport cars driving like idiots more often than not.
I was driving through coastal MS about 2 or 3 weeks ago & saw an H1. Both of us had this huge sh*t eating grin seeing each other. It's like seeing someone else in a vehicle you like & know what each other are thinking.
You know, it's funny, my H2 gets better mileage than my neighbor's 2014 Yukon Denali by 1 mpg & it's 1000 lbs heavier & the shape of a brick.
Are you going to build a car deadlift frame? The spark would be one of "the" cars to use, considering the weight.
And are you liking the spark?Crews: Ivanko Barbell Crew #52, York Barbell Club #95, Equipment Crew #59

alright I need to ask the broken down guys here some advice.
So a few weeks ago I noticed that my knee was starting to hurt a bit. Didn't put much stock into it because it was only occurring a few times a day and at work.
After I sit for awhile at work and get up, my one knee experiences some pain. It seems to be when I am putting weight on it. If I stand on my other leg and flex my knee, no pain. The thing is, if I get up to go to the bathroom, it hurts on the way there, but by the time I am walking back, the pain was gone.
One thing I noticed, it began when I tried arranging my seat and desk according to the "best" ergonomic positions, I changed it back, but still am having the issue.
Since it was only happening after sitting for a bit, I thought maybe it was just stiff, so I bought a knee sleeve, but that doesn't seem to be making any improvements.
The pain is now lingering longer, and occurring more - I rarely site with my knee flexed except at work and driving. At home my legs are usually up. Driving doesn't seem to be an issue.
Now I also feel some pain when I have my weight on that leg and rotate a bit, like turning while walking. A few times I got some decent pain, doing so, but not every time.
If I squat while it is hurting, it hurts. But if I squat while it is not hurting it does not cause pain.
Before I go seeing a doctor and whatnot, just wondering if it sounds familiar to anyone and if there is are any ideas I can try on my own.
Never had knee issues before. I was reading about the patella being loose or moving too much, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
I never had any knee issues before.Boomer Rep Crew #1

Use your foam roller to work on your quads and inside thighs. Stop and really focus on any spots that hurt when you roll over them.
This is what I do whenever I have knee pain; so far it's worked great.
I should use the foam roller even when I don't hurt, but I find it hard to be that disciplined about it.▪█─────█▪ Equipment Crew #35

A recent story of mine regarding pain and fixing it...
I'm participating in the Maricopa County Park system's 100 mile / 100 day challenge. The idea is to hike / walk 100 miles in 100 days in at least three of the county parks. You get a T-shirt at the end and are entered into a drawing for a park's annual pass. The program started at the beginning of November and runs through Feb 8.
I did it last year and hiked 200 miles. This year, I decided to go for 300, though my current daily average is at 5 miles/day, so it's likely that I'll easily exceed that goal - I'm already at 226 miles at it's only day 46 of the 100 days.
Anyway, last week, Monday, I woke up to find that my left foot hurt. It felt like the arch was cramped and my ankle hurt too. I could still walk - slowly - with a noticeable limp. I went out and hiked 3 miles that day anyway, but it hurt all the way through. I took Tuesday off - it still hurt. On Wednesday morning, I consulted The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook: Your Self-Treatment Guide for Pain Relief. For those who haven't seen this book, it describes a variety of self massage techniques for releasing trigger points. It also has a number of chapters that focus on different body parts, providing lists of muscles to check when you feel pain in a particular area. The muscles are sorted by likelihood of being the problem; it often happens that the first muscle in a particular list is the one which is the problem.
For the pain that I was feeling in my arch and somewhat in my heel, extending up the medial side of the foot, I found that the abductor hallucis was the culprit. Pressing hard with both thumbs on the medial (inside) of the heel was extremely painful. During the day on Wednesday of last week, I massaged that muscle several times throughout the day and then went for a 4.5 mile hike late in the day. My foot loosened up as I walked and started to feel pretty good. I did some more massage on my foot when I got back and throughout Thursday as well, hiking only 3.5 miles on that day. On Friday, I led our hiking group on a 12 mile hike and it did just fine. I've hiked about 30 miles since then and... so far, so good.
I should note that I've been wearing minimalist footwear for hiking; I like walking over rocks with the thin soles as they provide a pretty good foot massage. The abductor hallucis is kind of on the side of the heel though and was not getting massaged by either the rocks or by the Beastie that I use on almost a daily basis. If I work at it, I found that I can sort of use the Beastie to work on some of it, but the curvature of the foot at that point makes it difficult to use the Beastie as effectively as is needed.
Anyway, the point of all of this is that trigger point therapy / myofascial release really does work and can have dramatic results. I went from pain where I could hardly walk at the beginning of the week to being able to comfortably hike 12 miles at the end of the week.▪█─────█▪ Equipment Crew #35

You need a good rack, a bench, and a 300-lb Olympic weight set. Now, what was your question?

Bold is a wank fest. No one cares.
If you're going to be selling or giving away equipment, post pics...
I don't know you & others probably don't remember you either, so it's better to have proof. I'd hate to see forum members being ripped off. Don't forget your spoon.
Bold, more wank fest? DGAF, kiddo.
You won't give stuff to me? Not even if I ask nicely? Lol, go b*tch somewhere else.Crews: Ivanko Barbell Crew #52, York Barbell Club #95, Equipment Crew #59

Interesting. Obviously Synthetic has a much higher rep and post count. He's a solid guy, I totally respect everything he's posted.
ExJbeck was probably bending the solicitation rule, maybe nor egregiously so.
However, I put more stock in their YBC an IBC numbers, the lower the better(more senior).

Tim, I'm about your age. I saw the first movie when I was in kindergarden. Enjoyed the two sequels. Phantom Menace was such a snorefest, and Jar Jar Binks was so annoying I didn't bother with the other prequels.
Is this technically episode VII? Will I be able to resume where I left off in 1983?Clive, you're a good guy. - AttyGuy

I took the whole family to see it Thursday night. 7:20 showing. I live close to one of the theaters that got it a day early and bought them in advance a few months ago. I absolutely loved it. That being said I grew up with this franchise and always been a huge fan. No spoilers here. But I will say this. If you care about it, see it sooner rather than later. In the age of the internet and social media, there's no way some of the secrets are going to stay secret.
