I can't stand people who whing and b**ch about not being able to
Lose weight, Build Muscle, get healthy etc...Or they complain about
not having enough time to Workout, Prepare meals, Shop for healthy
foods, Workout a plan that works for them....
Nobody has the time to do any of this..Not even me..but what seperates
us from the rest is we are willing to sacrifice our time for what we love.
The feeling you get after a big workout where you have just hit a 1 rep max
on your squat, or pumped out more reps than you ever have before..This is
the feeling we all strive for..To know we have pushed our body to its
extreme limits and knowing that next week this workout wouldnt matter...
Its all about your next workout...Thats all that matters..
While you eat your chips and chocolates and then make some pathetic attempt
to go for a walk and then eat oily food afterwards, we are busy preparing meals with
healthy carbs, healthy fats, and more protein than you will eat in 1 day...Not because we want
to, but because it is who we are...

Just picked up a great book about the history of the SEALs (I'm a huge military non-fiction nerd). While their entire creed is inspiring this one paragraph really resonates with me:
I will never quit. I persevere and thrive on adversity. My Nation expects me to be physically harder and mentally stronger than my enemies. If knocked down, I will get back up, every time. I will draw on every remaining ounce of strength to protect my teammates and to accomplish our mission. I am never out of the fight.
Just something about that last line "I am never out of the fight". . .convince and prove this to yourself, and train to reach it.WINTER IS COMING

This is the most motivational thing I have ever seen in my life and is proof as to this communities' toughness. I am not sure of the exact injuries sustained by this individual but he had half of his face shot off in a fire fight. He is a member of the US Navy SEALs and wrote a sign that he stuck to his door to his room in the hospital. It reads:
"Attention to all who enter here. If you are coming into this room with sorrow or to feel sorry for my wounds, go elsewhere. The wounds I received I got doing a job I love, doing it for people I love, supporting the freedom of a country I deeply love. I am incredibly tough and will make a full recovery. What is full? That is the utmost physically my body has the ability to recover. Then I will push that about 20% further through sheer mental tenacity. This room you are about to enter is a room of fun, optimism, and intense rapid re-growth. If you are not prepared for that, go elsewhere."
On days where I don't feel like tearing up the gym or I feel like I cannot go any harder or push myself any more, thinking of this has a way to get that last rep or that last 100 yds (and so on) out of me.
