Just make sure to check your terms to ensure proper comparison.
TPB's are generally 1500 lbs.
If it is Texas Strength Systems you are referring to, their 1200 "power" bar (not tpb) has shallow knurling and no center knurling. Their TPB was less than $250 though, so that may be an option for you.Strongman Training Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=138026593

I had the worst workout of my life today. When I get stressed/depressed I completely lose my appetite, and this whole breakup thing resulted in me eating about 800 calories yesterday. Not the best prep for a heavy squat day. Oh well, once I get this behind me I'll get my appetite back.

about 9.5 and change from pinky to thumb, and a bit under 8" from middle to wrist
just spent 8 hours doing research in the lab.. i think i inhaled too many chemicals all day long
