Watched "The Girl Next Door" last night, which to be fair isn't a horror movie, but it was a grueling watch nonetheless.
I have waiting to watch:

My new job pays pretty well so I went on a scary movie shopping spree. I bought the following:
Land of the Dead: 6/10
Day of the Dead: 7/10
Silence of the Lambs: 9/10 (a classic)
Hannibal: 10/10 ( one of my favorites of all time. not boo scary, just disturbing)
28 Days Later: 7/10
28 Weeks Later: 7/10
From Hell: 8/10 (another one that's just disturbing)
My Bloody Valentine: 9/10 (original)
The 9th Gate: 8/10 (much better than expected)
I think that's all of them, might have gotten a couple I'm forgetting.
Going to watch Frontiers soon.Overt is the new Covert

I watched "The Happening" last night. It was really bad, just like most people and critics have said.
However, I think that M. Night Shyamalan made a bad movie on purpose. I read a quote from him that said that "The Happening" was a B-movie. I think that he was just trying to attain cult-status by making a silly, laughable movie. He wasn't trying to make another "Sixth Sense".. There are too many obvious scenes and dialog that reek of b--movie quality.
I gotta give him credit for taking a chance and not caring about his reputation...**B.M.B.C**

Finally got around to watching Let The Right One In, and I'm glad I did. Excellent settings, the two kids were perfect, and that ending in the pool made me want to stand up and applaud. Probably the best horror film I've seen since The Devil's Rejects.

Sup bros, haven't forgotten this thread. Just watched Session 9. Could someone clarify why did they director pointed the camera down when Gordon was on the phone sitting on the log? This movie left me bewildered with alot of questions unanswered.

I'm a movie whore. Just bought Haunting in Connecticut for 12 bucks, and Seven and The exorcism of Emily Rose for 5 a pop. I think that officially puts me over 40 horror movies.

if an avi/dvd rip is missing subs you can always find them here (usually):

Sup bros saw let the right one in the other day. Wasn't bad though I saw the English dub cause I hate reading subtitles. Though I much sure it would have been better with the subs than the dubs. Though still looking for a movie to scare the ****e outta me. I don't know about you guys I love the Argento films. He is really an artist. I saw some of the Mario Bava films too which I also like. Though I mostly watch those movies for the work of art captured on camera. Btw anyone see terror at the opera yet?
Damn I am trying to go through this thread to fish out some good movies. I am not really into aliens or zombies. Though I am getting Holocaust Cannibal Uncut and I did like the Thing. Also some of the Japanese and French horror movies are getting alot of attention in the online community. They are really good, some of them. Though if it comes to getting creeped out I think one trying to fear themselves comes from within. Like some of the scenes from the movie It.Distraction is an obstruction for the construction.

Don't you mean Cannibal Holocaust, ss4vegeta1?
Opera was Argento's last good film, IMO. The peephole scene is sheer brilliance.

Last house on the left:
6/10
the rape scene was not as shocking as I thought it would be.
The film feels like a lame version of Eden Lake.
My Bloody Valentine 3-D:
3/10
God awful acting, Incredibly predictable story line, I was bored the whole way through, what a waste of time.
Let the right one in:
9/10
Dangerous but Innocent yet Strangely Romantic, This film shows that subtlety has a place in horror.Last edited by Valenzuelatech; 07-19-2009 at 01:11 AM.

Watched "The Haunting in Connecticut" last night. I enjoyed it pretty well even though pg-13. It's a good jump scare movie w/ just a smidge of gore here and there. Nice overall creepy mood throughout, too.
8/10
