i like my kershaw just as much as my benchmade to be honest. the benchmade has an edge over the kershaw, but its also much more expensive.
i have the kershaw r.a.m
http://www.amazon.com/Kershaw-Overla.../dp/B0017L12U8
and its IMO, just as good as my mini griptallian, just cheaper
http://www.amazon.com/Benchmade-Mini...0294403&sr=1-4
holds a nice edge, very robust construction, etc. if price weren't an issue i'd probably still take the benchmade as i like the axis lock better~traditional wet shaving crew~ (feels good man)

I found this in the middle of the road yesterday!
Sog Twich II
Picked it up, dusted it off and it was good to go. Ran it down my arm and popped a few hairs!

Me too! Each time I think about an Izula or Becker Necker or something similar, I end up not getting one just because I don't really have a way to carry one effectively most days. I work as a paralegal, so neck carry with a dress shirt would be impractical and belt carry wouldn't exactly be office-appropriate.
As such, smaller folders have been my go-to, with my all-time favorite currently being the Spyderco Cricket. A stainless, serrated Cricket is my current edc, though the new Spyderco Balance looks really interesting. I might think about it once they finish the carbon fiber sprint run and release the stainless version (much more affordable).
If anyone has any suggestions for good small folders that carry low, I would be interested in hearing them. I do prefer liner/frame locks as well - easy to use and strong enough for the lighter use I put them through.********

Get one brahs, it's easily worth the $40 (rockynational.com)
Alphabrass, The Izula is small enough that you can put it into your pocket and it doesn't leave a print or stick out. I've been carrying it in my pocket since I got it and it has been comfortable that way, don't even notice it.
Honestly, it may be the perfect EDC knife. Not only is it easy to carry, but it's tough as hell and would do just fine in the woods.***Misc Survivalist Crew***

Whats the point of knife collecting? I don't mean it in a bad way, but do you guy's just collect them? Do you use them for something in specific? Or is it like coin collecting?

Also some personal experience, but I won't impose that onto you. But if you ask, I'll answer :)

Awesome!
I just ordered the ESEE-4 not sure how I convinced the wife but I need to remember. Lulz.
Now I need to decide on the ESEE 5 or 6 next.
To the guy asking about collecting, there are many different reasons. For me, I use them for different things. The Izula is taking over as my EDC knife from my Gerber Freeman folder, the ESEE-4 will be used for cleaning game and finer camp work and the ESEE-5 or 6 will replace my Gerber LMF II for the heavy duty camp work.
