The 25kg plates are harder to find. I see 45kg and 100-lb plates like this relatively often.

Picked these up yesterday... was told one is a 50's York set and the other a 70's York set. do the York sets meet the admission cost to get a # in the York Barbell Club ? if so, number please =)

Two sweet sets. The older set appears to be one of the last deep dish sets, from the 50's to 1967 or so. The other set could be late 60's to early to mid-70's. The bars look great.

the seller told me the bars are brass bearing, one spins very well, and the other could use some cleaning. i am uncertain if the sets found a permanent home with me, but i am grateful to have found them. from what i have gathered, it's a little tougher to find these in California.Originally Posted by AttyGuy

Who has the York "grip" plates? That is, the older ones from the 50's? And what sizes do you have? I've always wondered how common these are? And if anyone ever traced production numbers? That is, quantities? Years of make? Etc..
