Fool, even according to your view of things, Israel has not "grabbed" any land since 1967. In fact, since that time, Israel has been giving away more and more land, getting smaller and smaller, while getting attacked more and more.

Perhaps Israel should "grab" back some of the land that it had given away in the last 40 years. Maybe then there will be more peace.

Thought there was illegal seizure based on your post and sources, after further research it appears to be a black and white, contract-law-101 non-issue, offer and acceptance, four corner rules, yada yada, buddaboom buddabing...

Then I dug around the internet to learn more about this politician - Naphtali Bennett. Despite the fact that some of his quotes have intentionally been taken out of context, there is no sugar costing the fact that his statements are controversial, even when put in the correct context.

With that said, this guys achievements are quite remarkable.

1. He served in two highly secretive top special forces units in the Israeli military and holds the rank of Major.

2. After he finished his military service, he started a network security software company that he later sold for $145M.

3. He later served as a CEO for a cloud computing company that sold for a reported $100-$130M.

4. He holds a law degree from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

5. He is the current Israeli Minister of Economy.

He is obviously hardcore and political views are to the extreme (he doesn't believe Palestinians should have an independent state) but he has a very solid resume.

I wonder if Khaleed Mashaal, the leader of Hamas's, B.S in Physics he got from Kuwait University helped him net his reported $2.5B. Lol ...

I liked the dynamic, and how its a clear show of what necessity, or seeming necessity can do to good intentions. Israel intended to allow the orthodox jews an out to serving on religious grounds, but a growing population and the perceived need for more manpower for their security needs are seemingly forcing Israel to rethink this. I also like how they have the volunteer battalion and that Israel is trying to keep their promise but might ultimately have to renege on it.

I think that the video, also in relation to the thread, shows a side to Israel that a lot of its detractors tend to not notice. They seem to view Israel as this near godlike monolith capable of doing whatever it wants with impunity due to its excessive strength, but to Israel as a nation state, their position internally is seen as more tenuous than a lot of the people who criticize them see. It is an interesting scenario, and shows that how we view things isn't always, or even regularly correct.

That's crazy talking about deporting all Muslims. To where? My brothers are Muslim. They were born here. They are just as American as anyone else. Yeah, the american land WAS stolen. I acknowledged that it was not rightfully taken. The natives seem complacent enough to not care about fighting for their homes thoguh, so why should I care? If there was a big palestine-size movement to reclaim their land I would be the first person to stand behind it.

They didn't exactly have the internet to help them organize and the way colonialism happened in NA was like how it happened world wide. The major powers propped up leaders that they could use more easily and used them to defeat and suppress those they couldn't. There were fighting for the land they had lived on, but they didn't have the weapons, means of production, and manpower to fight back. Today they still actively try to petition for a return to their land, but even they understand how unreal that expectation is so the goals they set for themselves are set with this in mind.

They account for an impressive 1% of the population, and nobody cares to give them anymore than they have. When you are 1% of the population that is viewed as, and you view yourself as an outsider, you take what you can get, because expecting any more will only leave you disappointed.

Compare that to the population of Israel, which is 8 million people by estimates. 75% is Jewish, and 20% Arab. As of 2007 there are roughly 4 million Palestinian peoples. This means that the population difference is something like 6 million Jews, around a fourth of them being Orthodox and in a lot of ways nominally a part of the Israeli state compared to 4 million Palestinians. The populations are very close. When you have a roughly equal population it is easier to demand rights and resist. The situations are entirely different, but their fight should also be your fight I would imagine(the Native Americans I mean).

I back their de jure claims on their lands 100 percent. I understand they are in a sh**** position but if they stop living off their casinos and actually start a movement that gains momentum I will for sure support it and be vocal about it.
