@painted klown - Bro story Cool!
Approx. 85% of the time you are going to get what you pay for. You bought a 4$ stick and it sounds like you got what you paid for. A strong in strength stick with hardly any flavor and a bad aftertaste.
A quote I found from a review of the cigar that the Wall-o-text is talking about.
"Topic Dominican Churchill… Wow… Amazing… Incredible. Three words I did not think of when smoking this cigar."Tolerance and apathy are the last virtues of a dying society. ~ Aristotle

Thanks for actually reading my review. I knew the Misc loved cliffs, but I figured the refined gentlemen in the cigar crew would not require them.
Regarding the stick. Yeah, I got what I paid for, but I will be honest and say that I didn't expect it to be much different than it is. I do think I goof'd on getting such a large and long lasting cigar. About 30 mins (45 tops)or so would have been a better smoking time for me.
I am located in Des Moines, Iowa.
Thanks for reading all that. Your thoughts sum it up pretty well IMO.()---() York Barbell Club #11 ()---()

New guy, smoke something GOOD, not craptastic $4.00 smokes. Seems like you mostly enjoyed it though. Smoke what you like and like what you smoke. I usually leave the band on. It's useful if the wrapper starts to unravel on you. Try a Fuente best seller brah. Tats seem to be hard to find. I've only found one shop in my area that sells them and they have a limited selection.

Will second the fuente suggestion, basically any of their <7-8 dollar smokes would be good. Im really loving the rosado sun grown atm, the maduro and natural 858s are good too.
EDIT; DAmn this fausto is good, will definitley have to get more of these. Great full bodied smoke no real strength tho.Last edited by bailey1106; 04-09-2013 at 10:20 AM.

My next stick will be a better smoke. I only knew two brand names when I walked into the store, and I was afraid to spend $8-10 and come home to light up and find out I had bought a crappy cigar. With the size to price ratio on the one I bought, I figured that even if it wasn't great, I will at least get my money's worth.
Where is a good place to order cigars on line?
There are plenty of places it seems, but I don't know what ones are legit.()---() York Barbell Club #11 ()---()

Anyone see these before:
Saw them when looking around my local B&M and was curious. I feel like it will be a crappy smoke in a cool band, but I almost want to grab one just to keep the band ha ha.*** Misc Cigar Crew ***

Sounds good, I will give them a look.
Now that I have a bit of a "list" of brands and cigars to look for, I can go back to my local shop with a better idea of what to look for. I just need to figure out what size will work best for me, and I assume that will only come from smoking and personal preference.()---() York Barbell Club #11 ()---()

I recently bought a box of Oliva G Special G Maduro from Atlantic. The box ran me 120 bucks. Being there are 48 in there that's about $2.5 a pop. Smokes for about 40 mins and seems to fit your profile of short/cheap/tons of flavor. Being you are new to cigars I would suggest buying a sample. It takes lots of time and experimenting before you figure out what tickles your pickle.

OK, I have yet another stupid question. (I seem to have plenty of them) Lets say I bought a 48 count box of these cigars, and smoked three a week. Would these cigars stay fresh long enough to make it through an entire box?
I suppose my REAL question is, how long can cigars just lay about before they need to be put in a humidor?()---() York Barbell Club #11 ()---()

Thompsons has good prices and good samplers. You could even get a cigar + humidor combo from them that will suffice. Only bad thing about them is that they'll call you and try to con you into joining their cigar of the month club. Just tell them to F off. Politely, of course.
Cigarplace.biz has great prices and good samplers.*** Misc CIGAR Crew ***(smoking avi sub crew)
