i dont know where to start....

first, you chose a no name chitty 4$ "big" cigar. what did you expect?
most people wait to take the band off till the cigar is 1/3rd smoked. it warms up the cigar making it softer, and warms the glue making it easier to remove. when you slide the band off, half the time it catches the wrapper of the cigar. i just undo the band now.
you can expect burn isues with chitty cigars, they are cheap for a reason.
the mild bland taste... cheap ****ty cigar.
you have less than an hour to re light that bad boy before its gone to waste, do not save half burnt cigars.

go pickup a regular sized cigar. for noob and cheap try rocky patel, cusano 18 , hoyo de monterray. if you can find a "maduro" wrapper try one. its the darker looking cigars.

Thanks for actually reading my review. I knew the Misc loved cliffs, but I figured the refined gentlemen in the cigar crew would not require them.

Regarding the stick. Yeah, I got what I paid for, but I will be honest and say that I didn't expect it to be much different than it is. I do think I goof'd on getting such a large and long lasting cigar. About 30 mins (45 tops)or so would have been a better smoking time for me.

New guy, smoke something GOOD, not craptastic $4.00 smokes. Seems like you mostly enjoyed it though. Smoke what you like and like what you smoke. I usually leave the band on. It's useful if the wrapper starts to unravel on you. Try a Fuente best seller brah. Tats seem to be hard to find. I've only found one shop in my area that sells them and they have a limited selection.

Will second the fuente suggestion, basically any of their <7-8 dollar smokes would be good. Im really loving the rosado sun grown atm, the maduro and natural 858s are good too.

You get a box and you're gonna want a place to store em. Humidor or Tupperware version of it would do you nice. Others will aware you on Tupperware or you can search for my posts, as I think I asked a similar question a while back.

Pretty damned good especially if you can put them to sleep for a bit. They come close to the '64 when rested. Maduro is the one to go with for most Padrons.

Like obi won said they are good, especially the maduro. I never used to like them honestly, then i tried some of the lancero/lonsdale type vitolas in the main line. Defenitley try those too.

Thompsons has good prices and good samplers. You could even get a cigar + humidor combo from them that will suffice. Only bad thing about them is that they'll call you and try to con you into joining their cigar of the month club. Just tell them to F off. Politely, of course.

You would need some kind of humidification device to keep them fresh. I would get a humidor with beads or kitty litter. As much as you want to support your B&M, in the long run you need your own setup.
