Great session today. Ribs hurt a bit, but not too bad thanks to alittle anti-inflam's . 530 was VERY easy...I just have SUCH a hard time walking this weight out. I really need to get used to walkign weights out, because if I can walk it out I can squat it.
Tomorrow is suited bench, CANT WAIT!

Good session today, but not as good as I would like it. Its probably because of this god awful gym lol. Not a bad session though. I need to find out what my openers would be for May 12th, and I think it will be around 355. Not exactly sure yet. Monday I will do openers to figure out what is going on and where I will be at.
Tomorrow is off, then thursday will be suited deads/raw squat, then raw benching/accessory on friday. Weekend I will take off for my great friend PFC Mike Metcalf's viewing and funeral service . R.I.P buddy.

Our finals week is next week. 3 more semesters of undergrad here. It's my fourth year, and I've had senior standing since my third semester, but I've delved into so many different possible second majors that I still have two more semesters until I can graduate. Taking the extra third to spread the course load out and take one or two more maths than I could've otherwise. I'm a nerd.

Finally used to this squat suit for deads. Need to work on keeping chest up and staying more back but it was awesome for a first time. Expecting some big things in two weeks!!
Meet is May 12th in Ft. Lauderdale. Can't wait! Tomorrow is raw bench and some board work as well. Then taking the weekend off.

Meet Write-Up 5-12-12
Squats
485 x 1 - Easy, lost balance a bit but recovered thank god. Descended too slow, so I need to work on going down quicker. Did this in sleeves.
523 x 0 - Watch in the video, I thought I had it and was def. deep enough, but was thrown too far forward and tried to recover by the end of the lift, but the head judge kind of ****ed me up with the signal.
523 x 0 - So damn easy when you have the correct form and stay behind the bar. But apparently it wasn't deep enough
Bench
340 x 1 - Easy, no issues at all
363.5 x 0 - Lost my entire train of though, and thought I was benching raw for a moment so I pushed incorrectly and lost it.
363.5 x 1 - So easy, no problems at all. This is how my 2nd attempt should of gone. I ****ed myself.
Deadlifts
480 x 1 - Easy. No problems at all
501.5 x 1- Again Easy, but starting to lose my grip on these because these bars were horrific. Hope we got new ones with some actual grip on them for Nationals.
523 x 0 - Weight flew off the ground, but immediately my right hand flew off. I have never had a problem with grip before. Time to work.
Notes
Overall a crappy meet IMO. But I gained the knowledge I needed for the gear, and what to work on. Will be starting a new program on monday and it will consist of a 4 week prep, then taper then Nationals on June 23rd. Can't wait. Time to train.
Final total was 1350, and I was 5/9 on my lifts. Goal for Nationals will be atleast 1450...But I REALLY want 1500. I think it is doable.
