    585 deadlift for a triple at 220 lbs

    Go easy on me fellas

    I'm pretty proud of this as I tore my pec 10 months ago and had surgery to reattach it 9.5 months ago. I just started deadlifting again about a month ago (but have been squatting and doing glut-ham raises for much longer)

    unfortunately if you want to squat in a meet you have to take at least a token bench.

    Probably have to do deadlift only. I haven't seen anything where you can just go dead and squat. Unless you are at a very serious meet you shouldn't have any trouble at all getting wins at raw 220.

    i've done 475 for 5 raw, so probably over 520 i'd guess. My calculated max is at like 540, but i don't put a whole lot of stock in those calculators

    My first meet next month is single lifts - theres bench squat and dead, but no overall, and you dont have to enter all three (although I am)

    Looks like you have something of a high waist and slightly long arms, so you are always going to pull with your hips a little higher than someone with a more proportionate build. (yours does not appear to be extreme, like mine).

    thanks, pec is doing well. been training chest again for about 6 months. Started with 3 lb dumbbell presses. Last week I did 55 lb dumbbells for 3 sets of 20, so I'm getting there!
