I prefer Dead but every local gym is packed during my available times so I started building my own gym at home with a power rack, attachments, dumbbells, kettle bells,...etc. I still have a membership though for the few times that I want to go to use a machine that I don't own.

I prefer to go when it's packed and you have to tailor your workout to the available equipment rather than what you had planned.
Much prefer waiting for a bench that's surrounded by perma-tanned pink stringer wearing *******s discussing broscience.

Same, I actually started with a pair of DBs and a bench.
Going through thrift stores I managed to buy some more decent DBs, plates and various stuff.
Next in line is a power rack.
But for me nothing on Earth beats working out at home, especially as in my area pretty much all the gyms are VERY crowded.Height: 184,0 cm (6 feet)

LBM: 65,4 kg (144.1 lbs)

I actually prefer to have some people there as long as it's not so crowded that I have to wait. The gym I go to has mostly dedicated, positive, knowledgeable people there to work, not like some other gyms I've belonged to in the past where it's more like a social club. I find it motivating to be around others with similar goals and interests.

Depends. If it's a normal session, empty is pretty nice. But if I am testing PR's, having a lot of people around me helps me get motivated. Almost like I'm feeding off their energy. That is unless they are taking racks, platforms or benches I need LOL
Always try to be better.......

So you do cardio when you don't feel comfortable lifting because you don't have much weight on the bar? If that's it, don't worry, man, gym goers don't judge as much as you might think. If anything, I think most people have respect for people lifting light weights, putting in a good effort with good form.
