    I'm bulking too, but this **** probably just destroyed a couple weeks worth of bulking because fat gains were excessive lol, probably starting my cut after new years instead of the 14th as I had previously planned.

    I can totally relate.

    I had a huge breakfast, probably 1000 calories. Followed by ~6 cookies throughout the day and some bread. Luckily, I went into damage control mode and had a average sized dinner. I probably ate ~2500 calories on the day, which isn't so bad.

    4500-5000 calories on both Christmas Eve and Christmas. Being around my family and all that dessert is a plague. But I don't really regret it. I had planned for less, but it gave me a good mental boost. 3 lbs on the scale, probably 0.75-1 of it real, that won't be hard to make back up.

    I probably gained 4 - 5 pounds over the last couple weeks so dont feel bad. Im back on target tomorrow.
    Why do I do this weightlifting thing for the last 34 years with all its ups and downs life has handed me? Because each time I came back stronger. NEVER GIVE UP. Gym life is about more than muscles getting bigger and weights going up. Its wisdom discipline dedication humility you name it.
