survey results show Bonds, Clemens and Sosa are receiving less than 50% of the HOF vote (need 75%) and Mcgwire less than 25%.
Bonds and Clemens are just serving time for PEDs, Sosa may or may not get in but I highly doubt Mark McGwire will ever.
It is interesting how so mayn hated Bonds and Clemens and thought they were users but they will get in but Sosa and McGwire were celebrated in 98 and they may not get in. I wonder how much of that is due to the fact that fans/voters feel as if they were deceived , whereas they just took it for a given with a guy like Bonds that he was using.
Longoria, Upton and Wright now have all signed big deals BUT Hamilton reportedly hasnt been offered more than a 3yr deal. Wow if he doesnt get more I will be surprised how fiscally prudent MLB teams have gotten. BUt when a player's own team has $ and is making no attempt whatsoever to sign him, you know something is up with the guy. Drugs, alcohol, not getting along with coaches/front office, crazy wife, and inuries.
Braves are dumb for trading Hanson. They have an all-star closer already and you can never have neough SP. Right?
The Yanks AARP squad continue to grow (Rivera signs at 43, Pettite signs for another year too).

Damn.. I've been seeing the stories popping up, but didn't know who it was or what happened. That's a shame.
Lol, D4K. AARP squad.. Rivera is still one of if not the best closer to ever play the game. We'll see if the injury slows him down any, but knowing him, it won't. Petite is still going fairly strong, but I think he'll call it a day after this season if the bombers don't win the ship.Last edited by miacanesfan25; 12-01-2012 at 09:53 AM.

Haha strong hit on Murray. Those refs are failures for even missing that. He got pummelled. Such a loltastic hit. I love how they replayed it 5-6 times.
Also, anyone watching the World Challenge? McDowell is doing work. And I think it's hilarious how outraged everyone is getting over anchoring putters. Lame.“Go back?" he thought. "No good at all! Go sideways? Impossible! Go forward? Only thing to do! On we go!" So up he got, and trotted along with his little sword held in front of him and one hand feeling the wall, and his heart all of a patter and a pitter.”

That's the point some golfers are making. Anchoring a longer putter doesn't make putting any easier and it's a skill that's acquired. Seems like the rule is going to be integrated in 2016, so that sucks for some people with longer putters. They're going to have to learn to put away from the body.
Nah. Georgia hasn't really been throwing that well. 'Bama, on the other hand, has been monstrous rushing (350 yards). The game was amazing, though. 'Bama is going to be playing ND. I am excite!“Go back?" he thought. "No good at all! Go sideways? Impossible! Go forward? Only thing to do! On we go!" Week 13 Preview
1pm
Jax vs Buffalo- Bills have been better but Jags surging (as much as they can) with Henne
Sea at Chi- Chi looked much better with Cutler back but Sea needs the win for playoffs but struggles on the road.
SF @ Stl- Rematch of this year's tie game. SF should win, Colin gets 2nd start
NE @ Mia- NE puts up too many points for this MIA team
Arz @NYJ- Jets are a joke but Zona is really rolling (in a bad way). They actually have bigger QB issues than Sanchez is.
Indy @ Det- Colts were supposed to be bad and Lions good. Reversal of fortunes here.
Minny @ GB- Division rivalry. GB needs to bounce back after last week but Vikings need win for playoff hopes
Hou @ Tenn- Texans are just a lot better. Period
Car @ KC- Carolina doesnt have a much better record. But based on eye test they are MUCH better.
4pm games
TB @ Denv- Broncos looking for win in order to get in eye territory. TB looking for win for playoff territory. Higher scoring game favors Bucs IMO
Clev @ oakland- Glad I dont have to watch this
Cinci @ SD- SD is done. Norv is cooked. Cinci can look to surpasss Pitt with a win
Pitt @ Balt- Sepaking of pittsburgh...Balt should win this rivalry easily if Ben is out again.
SNF
Philly @ Dal- This primetime matchup looked FAR more exciting in the preseason
MNF
NYG @ WA- NYG looked like they could be the best team in the NFC last week. RGIII looked like he could be the most exciting player to watch in the NFL the last couple of weeks.
Half of this weeks games are divisional rivalrly games but with all the divisions sewn up, they provide a lot less bang for their buck.Founder of MMDELAD

Several teams will win their respective divisions with wins or other team losses tomorrow.
Giants will shutdown the skins because I said so.
Kapernick or whatever his name is will prove that Alex Smith should have remained the starter.
Miami will show up against NE, but NE will prevail.
Big Ben is out and so is pittsburghs season.
Nobody cares about Dallas and Philly.
Sanchez will throw more int's than td's.

Absolutely. But my theory sounds better.
The broadcasters in Houston-Tennessee game are about as exciting as potato. Anybody watch duck dynasty? They remind me of mountain man.
I hate living in St. Louis during football season. Nobody cares about the rams and that's the only game ever on.
In Miami they used to show the best games unless Miami was actually doing well. So basically it was always the best games.
Sanchez: 5 completions, 3 int's, 0 td's.

I'll just copy and paste something I read online to explain the Chiefs thing:
Carolina Panthers at Kansas City Chiefs:
Note: I made this pick and wrote this up before the events which transpired in Kansas City yesterday, but now more than ever I can see this club finally rallying together and earning a home victory against a very beatable foe.
What the fark am I doing picking the Chiefs to win a game? Two reasons: one, it's against Carolina, who can't possibly muster a two-game winning streak (Einstein proved it). Two, and more importantly: the best thing Kansas City can possibly do at this point is lose out and lock up the #1 draft pick, and when was the last time a Chiefs team did what was best for them? Throw the stats out the window for this one, because we're just going with the simple laws of nature here
And I know that Russell doesn't have the yards either of those guys have, but I just watch him run a drive. He seems to have settled in to the position, makes more heads up calls, and broadcasts less of his moves than the other two rooks. Although it IS the only time I've seen him play this season.Detroit Red Wings~Kansas Jayhawks~Kansas City Chiefs~K.C. Royals

Russell Wilson is right up there with Luck and Griffin III. Look at Wilson's stats. Watch him play. Any way you could compare him, he's right up there with them. He is the real deal. This 2012 draft class is turning out some winners.
Just for the heck of it, coming into today:
Wilson: 2,051 yards, 17 TD, 8 INT, 63.6% completion %, 93.9 rating
Luck: 3,205 yards, 13 TD, 13 INT, 56.8% completion %, 76.7 rating
Griffin III: 2,497 yards, 16 TD, 4 INT, 67.4% completion %, 104.6 rating
And now he just led ANOTHER scoring drive, this one in OT to win the game. That's after his 97 yard drive in the fourth quarter to take the lead earlier.Few things are set in stone, except that you have to squat or you are a pussy. - Mark Rippetoe

He would have started if he didn't have broken ribs.
You forgot about rushing statistics:
Russell Wilson: 227 yards, 0 TDs
RG III: 642 yards, 6 TDs
Andrew Luck: 183 yards, 5 TDs
RG III produces far, far more yardage and scoring on his feet than Wilson does and he essentially functions as a second RB, which has put Washington 1st in the league for rushing offence (he only has 300 rushing yards less than his RB). Luck also throws far more. He's thrown 449 attempts while Wilson has only thrown 280 and RG III 308.
Don't forget that Wilson has a great team, which bolsters his stats. He has the 8th best rushing offence in the league (the passing offence is 31st) and the defence is top 3. Luck has the 22nd ranked defence and 17th ranked rushing offence.“Go back?" he thought. "No good at all! Go sideways? Impossible! Go forward? Only thing to do! On we go!" So up he got, and trotted along with his little sword held in front of him and one hand feeling the wall, and his heart all of a patter and a pitter.”
