29NOV12
5x5
SQUATS:135, 205, 245,270
DEADLIFTS:225, 275, 325, 355, 315X8. *325 grip fail
MILITARY :100, 120, 125, 140
EZ BAR CURL (STANDING) NARROW GRIP: 70X10, 80X10, 90X8
FARMER'S WALK 80X100FT, 90X100FT, 90X100FT ( WEIGHT=DB IN EACH HAND)
NOTES: Where do I begin. First off, this has to be in my top ten best work outs of my life. Not just in terms of PRs and whatnot...but motivation, drive, focus, continuity of each lift, the energy....everything was at 100%. Ok, so my bitch wrist is about 90% better. I lifted through the pain, no big deal. However I am not sure if I was nursing it too much or what, but 140 on military presses were HEAVY. Last week 135 was a sinch now 140 was almost too heavy....? Ill try 145 next week and hopefully it wont be as hard. I DO NOT want to run the risk of a shoulder injury. My grip is weak. I dropped 325 DL at my 4th rep because my grip litterly gave out, So I strapped up for 355.. So I incorporated farmers walk for grip/cardio. Everything except the presses were money. Really excited to ride this program until all my lifts stall, which is a LONG ways away.

Bro, all you need is someone there to spot you to get you through those heavy weights. I have bad shoulders and tend to nurse them when the weights start to get up there. I know I can do them, but I stop myself, afraid of hurting myself. When I get one of my gym buddies there just to add that extra layer of support if my shoulder stars to give, I am able to get through that heavy lift! You know you got this!

I really think it was just something mental. A 5 lbs increase and suddenly it got difficult.....gtfo. Its def in my head. I am going to pop some ibuprofen and ice it tomorrow. If it still bothers me come Saturday, Ill ask someone for a spot.
lmao
Its my motto. Its kind of like YOLO but it doesnt make me sound like a complete *******.

Bro, one thing I learned and I don't know much, never hesitate to ask someone for a spot. One of my good workout buddies I met because he merely asked me for a spot. Just him being there during a heavy lift helped me to push through without the possibility of injury to myself even though I knew I could lift the weight. It's def a mind thing. We tend to protect ourself when we have an injury!

Thanks man. I really want my form to be perfect as I progress. I do not want to inherit bad habits as my strength increases. A 350lb squat doesnt mean **** if it looks like garbage.
Ill post some bench and deadlift videos next sesh.I am currently prepping for a Bodybuilding show, follow my journey :
