    Chest growth

Hi, I've been training for 3 years now and what I find to be lacking more in my body is my chest. (partially I think this is due beacuse i have very strong and wide shoulders...which kinda take out a lot of the pecs out of pressing movements..)
Anyway... My trining routine for chest looks something like this:

    Flat barbell/dumbell press 4x8
    incline barbell/dumbell press 4x8
some cable movement or fly or pec deck 4x12
and finally weighted dips 3x max

1.Do you guys have any advice on what made your chest take it to the next level?
2.Should I train it twice x week or once is fine ??

P.S.( my chest isn't that bad, but i feel like I'm lacking wideness...maybe that is just genetics? When i work it out it gets pretty pumped and of course i'd love it to stay like that...but it won't of course).

I work the chest twice a week at about 16 sets per session, one day being a heavy day and the other a light day. For you, lack of chest mass may simply be due to a lack of overall mass. You can try gaining overall weight (5' 10" 171 is on the smaller side in terms of bodybuilding). Your routine itself looks fine.
Bodybuilding is 60% training and 50% diet. Yes that adds up to 110%, because that's what you should be giving it. Change the inside, and the physique will follow.

It could be, but keep in mind I'm very lean at the moment. Yes I do eat properly, but i'm also a soccer player so I need to stay this way. I know to increase overall mass you need to gain a bit of fat... not saying the usual bb bulk. My legs are already very big. I just want to keep that lean look, but with fuller, wider chest. Your saying that in order to do this I need to pack on some weight and then cut back again?

Pretty much this. You're going to have to gain mass in your chest, which means gaining weight, and eating in a surplus. As long as you eat in a very slight to moderate surplus, then you won't gain excessive fat.
