Is this a joke? Thomas Tadlock? He makes like $100,000 per year running a few bootcamps... there are MANY trainers pulling in much, much more than that running much bigger operations. Most of the people you posted are either scammy info marketers (Mike Chang) or random nobodies.
Actual people dominating in the field would be Dave Tate, Jason Ferrugia, Zach Evan-Esh, Eric Cressey, Dax Moy, John Berardi, Nate Green, Shannon Dey, etc.
PS: I've got nothing against Thomas Tadlock, in fact he trains in the same county as me, but that's the only reason I've ever heard of him.

Sure. But I'm not one of the best trainers out there. This is an international forum. I'm good enough to be talked about at my own gym, but not good enough to be talked about internationally. Who talks about what a great trainer I am, besides me? Nobody.
That's the key thing to judge someone's worth: is it them talking about themselves, or other people talking about them? That's how you know Dan John is useful, and Poliquin is useless.

Like others have said; are you basing this in their actual knowledge or how well the market themselves?
I just watched the mike Chang video; and an expert in their field doesn't say "do 2 sets or so" an expert would say "do 2 - 3 sets, because..." the glaring example is "sometimes I warm-up, sometimes I don't" mike Chang is NOT an expert in the fitness industry - don't get me wrong though, he's a genius marketer... Or employs someone who is.
Someone mentioned John Beradi. Agree 100% in terms of nutritional coaching for clients I haven't found anyone than even comes close - but please don't confuse this with me touting him as a dietician/nutritionist. This bloke has made an art form of nutritionally coaching clients as a PT
There are plenty of popular/successful fitness icons out there: most of them with a basic understanding of fitness and an incredible body and great marketing
