Get prepared
There are plenty of great opportunities in this world, and new opportunities come along every day. Making the most of those opportunities requires preparation. Success is not dependent so much on access to opportunity as it is on the amount of preparation that has preceded the opportunity.

Is it really so bad?
Is there anything you need to do, but don't really want to do? Is there something that could bring success and accomplishment, but you just can't bring yourself to do it?
Why not? Is it really so bad? Or have you just become so accustomed to avoiding it, that you've created a block against it? Habits and attitudes perpetuate themselves. And often we find it necessary to break free.
Chances are, whatever you're avoiding, you've probably done many other things that are just as risky or unpleasant or difficult. It's not the thing itself that's stopping you -- it's you. In fact, some of the actions you take to avoid it, are probably just as uncomfortable as doing it in the first place.
Whatever needs to be done -- do it! Break free of your own limiting attitude. You can handle whatever challenges come your way. Stop holding yourself back, and learn to enjoy the actions that lead to success.M O O N spells LBM

Know it is possible
Knowing that something is possible is a significant step toward achieving it. As soon as you know, without a doubt, that you can achieve it, in many ways you immediately begin to benefit from it.
Of course achievement requires more than just knowing you can do it. You must actually take the steps which will make it happen. However, those efforts come much more readily when you know that they will surely lead where you desire to go.
Look at all the things others have achieved. Consider everything you have already accomplished. Know that what you desire is possible. Convince yourself of it. See yourself living it in every detail. Fully and sincerely expect it, and you're well on the way to having it.M O O N spells LBM

Make it yours

Thoughts of self
Imagine how it would be to go through this entire day without ever thinking of yourself. Think of all the concerns that would suddenly drop away. You'd be free to speak and act without worrying about what others would think. Your courage would soar because you'd be completely immune to fear and rejection. There would be no time wasted in being angry or taking offense or worrying. The limitations you've placed on yourself would completely disappear.
Just think of how much you could accomplish. Just think of the possibilities you could fulfill. Just think of the clear and refreshing sense of freedom it would bring.
The fact is, you can do it today. You can indeed be free of your own limitations, free from useless anger, worry, and despair. Today is as it should be. Today is the result of reasonable, visible and even predictable influences. Though many of today's circumstances may seem unfair, unjust or cruelly random, to throw up your hands and curse them as such will only blind you to the positive possibilities.
Instead, accept that there's a reason for today. Look thoughtfully at how you arrived at this point. Those same influences which combined to make this day what it is can be harnessed to bring you to wherever you wish to go.
Today has a reason, and today has a purpose. Today has a cause and today has an effect. Today you can plainly see what has already happened and you can directly affect what is to be.

The power of acceptance
Sometimes the best way to free yourself from a burden is to accept it. Much of the destructive essence of any burdensome situation comes from fighting against it. Once you stop fighting, you can start progressing.
Certainly if there is a threat you protect yourself against it. But there is no point in fighting against what already is. When you accept the situation, that is the starting point at which you begin to make the most of it. When you can go beyond acceptance into sincere gratitude, you take on a powerful positive momentum.
In short, accept what is, then find something positive about it. Even the most desperate situation has its positive aspects and possibilities. You'll uncover them only after you've accepted that the situation exists. Acceptance is not surrender. It is the recognition of reality. Thoughts can be powerful. The absence of thoughts can be powerful as well. Many things are annoying, for example, simply because you think they're annoying. What grand and beautiful things might lie hidden underneath the relentless noise of your own thoughts?

Relax even now
You can relax right now. Relaxation does not have to wait until the weekend or vacation time. For the most part, life is not an emergency, though too many of us live each hour of each day as if it is. Whatever you are doing, whatever deadlines you are working against, relax.
Frenzy and anxiety accomplish nothing other than raising your blood pressure and making you more prone to mistakes. Sure, you have a lot to get done today, and the list continues to grow. So take a deep breath, relax, and get to work at a sure and steady pace.
Relaxation does not require a lack of activity. Just about anything that can be done in a state of anxiety can be done even more effectively in a state of relaxation.
