No matter how crappy I feel or how unmotivated I am, I always have a nice chest/tri day.
Always.

Went camping this weekend. No campfires in this tinderbox of a state. High 30's F around bedtime (fairly early because no fire), 26 F when I wake up around 6am. Making coffee is a project when you have to drill to get water out of a bottle. And a preliminary EFF OFF to you Canadians, yeah I know it's -60C up there where you are and you'd be sunbathing or stalking mooses (moose?) naked at 26F, but I ain't used to that and hey at least I don't listen to Nickelback.
I ate about ONE MILLION CALORIES worth of granola that somebody else brought, so I stayed fairly warm via enhance thermogenesis. I was targeting maintenance calories for Saturday, but I used the logic that I couldn't be bothered with being too strict due to A) the cold, B) no cellular reception = no granola macros in MyFitnessPal, C) it was in all likelihood the last camping trip of the year, and D) the granola was really, really good with dried cranberries + I really have a problem with granola and portion control. I only drank two beers the whole trip, on the plus side.

>Had 500 calories left.
>Decided to make whey ice cream again.
>Did it right this time. *No water in with ice + more salt.
>Actually sort of close to ice cream/10
1.5 cups
451 calories
21 carbs
15 fats
58 protein
All I did was use 2 scoops of mts whey + 1 cup of whole milk and put that in a bag which was inside another bag of ice and salt. I took a clean floor mop rag (towel would suffice) and shook the two sealed bags in it lightly for around 7 minutes. I then took whey/milk bag out, cut the corner, and squeezed the contents out of the corner into a Talenti container.
???????
Good enough for government work.
I'm sure you could make it taste better / make it have a more real consistency with different protein/milk ratios and adding flavors and sweeteners but I kept mine barebone for the first try.

updated my log. psmf didn't seem that crazy until i realized i didn't eat all day until like 730pm, then ate a meal and was done for the day. gg. need to find some leaner meat so that 12g fat doesn't phuk up my cals tomorrow.

Amen to this. I was absolutely starving yesterday and even today. I work 1 week off and on at my family restaurant. Me and my brother switch weeks and I absolutely look forward to working so that I have something to do instead of being at home and so that I can forget about food. So simple, pull a IF style protocol and don't eat till I get home. Eat, nap for a few hours then get up for the gym then go home and cook and prepare the day after's food.

That's why it's so easy for me to screw up on the weekend cause there's no structure to it.

I'd just like to mention something I noticed earlier today.
Let me start out by saying that I love carrot cake.
I saw some in the refrigerator and my craving for it was 8/10 intense(I could've eaten half the fukking thing and not gave 2 shyts but afterwards), but after I had some chicken breast and veggies and felt full, it was more like an "eh that would be nice to have but it's really dense in calories and hard to count, do not want 3/10".
Stay full folks.

Diet Dr. Pepper was hunger-blunting tool of choice this weekend.

While I like camping, I think I generally like the concept of camping or thinking about camping more than actually doing it. Brings back memories of fun from when I was a kid. Camping + fishing as a kid was a near magical experience, I remember being so excited the night before that I could not even sleep.

My dad had his bicep completely detach and sling into the shoulder in a fight when he was fighting a homie.
Video is weak.
/dadbragLOL
Edit: you can see the tendon snap and half of the bicep sling up similarly though. Also not sure if that was a clap or what but I think you can hear it too.

Finally got my gambling fix. Was up like $400 at one point but threw down some big bets at the end. Still walked out up a few bucks, and when someone pays you for you to be entertained, it's not a bad day.
