    increasing cardio on keto.

    Should I have any issues increasing my cardio, while on a ketogenic diet? Do carbs play any part in my ability to build up my cardio?

    i'm not 100% sure but ive been having less than 25g of carbs lately and i ride my bike every evening, no problem. 6-10 mile rides not falling below 16mph.

    just make sure you have a pre-workout! thats what i did (coffee) also had lunch an hour or two before so that can count too.

    I am also cycling heavy 5 days a week to the same effect as BlazinBarbz - I do a total of 20 miles per day to and from work. Some days I find it hard but generally no difference in performance. I'm 16 days into Keto.

    I don't know about the rest of you, but when I get into full ketosis for a couple days, I end up having MORE energy. I'm very carb sensitive and they weigh me down A LOT. I feel much "lighter" and therefor feel like I have more energy on keto. I do more cardio on keto as apposed to not. Sorry, I know this didn't answer your question but it was my 2c.

    Hi everyone!
    So i need help, I'm 5'7 (172 cm) height, and 121 lbs (55 kg), i'm on keto diet and i eat 1370 kcal per day ( 10% carbs, 20% protein, 70% fat). The main problem is that i can't go below 55 kg, maybe i'm eating too little,so my metabolism is slow down or what's the problem??
    And i do low cardio on stationery bike every day 2 times (morning and afternoon)
    HELP!

    How long have you been on keto and how long have you been doing the same things without changing anything up?

    Why are you wanting to increase cardio and how much are you currently doing?
