well i got two different mechanical pencils. a 0.7mm and 0.5mm, i like mechanical pencils now more then pencils as you can get cleaner lines and no sharpening.
first i layer on 0.7mm very lightly, then just layer after layer of 0.5mm depending on darkness needed. lightly also until needs to get real dark.*Misc Artistic Crew* Curlin' Pencils. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Drawing faces from memory seems really hard, havent tried yet, but I know its gonna be terrible lol. Those look heaps good, the girl looks like a hobbit lol
Think I get it, but couldnt you just do them same with a pencil? Also how do you create smooth shading with such a small surface area, it just comes out as lines if my pencil is too sharp...Things are always as good or as bad as you think they're going to be

fk yea man relaxing as fk. and one thing i am passionate about. last few weeks since i got serious about wanting a tattoo apprenticeship. wakeup like 6am draw for about an hour and half then get ready for work @ 9. then draw at night. gotta do what you need to succeed !
