I know it is good to have a good source of protein, fats and stuff before u sleep to "fuel yourself" up for the night. However, is there any large differences or negative effects skipping a pre-bed meal? I sleep at 12 midnight and take my dinner at around 8-9p.m. I usually have grilled chicken breast with some lettuce and yes, I do add around half a cup of cottage cheese to my dinner/post-workout meal. REPS will be given to any useful answers and help. Thanks guys! Serious answers please...don't post stuff like, "stfu and eat ur pre-bed meal!" lol..peace~!

Whether or not it's good or bad depends on many things - including your activity level, overall nutrition, and supplementation. If you exercise intensely in the morning, you might find benefit in eating for tomorrow so to say the night before.
That said, what you are doing could almost be called "Intermittent Fasting" (depending on what & when your other meals, etc... are) ...It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.

Meat/egg proteins: lasts 2-3 hours in your system
Whey: believe 1-2 hours
Milk/Casein: 4-6 hours
I do a casein/whey combo shake usually 30 mins or so before bed (Ultra Peptide 2.0 or ISS Misculler Matrix) + some natty pb. It has definitely helped my bulk this time around by giving more more calories plus fuel for muscle to build while I sleep. My last time I bulked I didn't even know about prebed nutrition and I think i gained more fat than muscle during it. I have never done it on a cut though, but i'm assuming you should, but without natty pb or maybe just little.Deadlift (400x1) *7/1/2015*

If dinner is your post workout meal, I would definitely eat again before bed, unless it interferes with your sleep. I would also add carbs to this meal (although not necessarily a large amount).
I don't think you can 'refuel' from a workout as effectively with 1 meal as you can with several spaced 2-4 hours apart.

Me too. My pre-bed meal is usually about 1-1.5 hours before I go to sleep, because I'm ususally hungry for a little something around then, just a cup of CC and a tbsp of pb or handful of almonds, nothing too big since my body likes to store fat . If you workout after I'd say 4pm, IMO you'll want at least 2 meals in you before bed so you can recover.

it depends on a couple things, i never go to bed hungry. But if i am hungry i dont over due it before bed, i try just a simple casein shake, or maybe a little tuna or some type of meat, if im cutting ive found not eating before bed helps me shed some fat easier. But everyones different
