He wont play today. When players are traded there is usually atleast 2 days before he eligible to play. Physicals and paperwork take time.

Damn. I know he didn't really fit into the system going forward but it'll be weird seeing him in a different jersey. I'll hop on the Yanks bandwagon in the playoffs I guess. Would've preferred getting some hitters though, as pathetically enough I believe he had the best average on the team.
