We've been dating 3 months (known each other for 5). He's on the east coast in Canada, and I'm on the west coast. I wished him over the phone obviously.
I wanted to get him this outfit I had planned in my head from Nordstrom but ended up not because I wanted to be discrete about it and asking him his exact size and address wouldn't be so discrete, lol. Also, if the stuff doesn't fit, he can't exchange it easily in Canada...so it would be a waste since I'd actually want to see him in the clothes.
I was thinking the next time he is over here I could get him it/have him try it on beforehand or something if the female misc. decides I should have gotten him something.
Anyway, mine is in 2 months..and I honestly am not expecting anything for mine from him. I just don't want him to feel not loved.

Most likely not unless I get accepted into a dental school on the east coast. It's not an arranged engagement, per say, but more of dating with the possibility/intent of marriage on both our sides. Why did I branch out of my local area? Because there next to zero guys who meet my family's requirements AND mine so I looked into a bigger pool.
