Going on a week long cruise first week in July. Pumped up only issue is I am making a comeback to D1 cross country and track after a year long injury. Nutrition info has got me back in shape a long with a lot of running and smart lifting.
My issue is balancing fun with the average weight gain of TEN POUNDS on a cruise. Cannot afford to gain this much, training like I am if I have to cut again it puts me at a higher risk for injury and limits recovery after runs.
Any suggestions, I will take a two pound gain but no more. Sorry if this post is annoying but balancing fun with athletics isn't easy.
I will not be working out or running during this trip either week off.

I ate like a pig and drank like a fish on my cruise enjoying myself not worrying about everything like you are, especially at 20 years old. Come on dude, you are going to be the only 20 year old on there worried about your calories. How many times do you get to go on a cruise ship with all the great food?
I didn't gain any weight and actually lost 2 pounds when I got back. You realize the amount of walking and heat you will be in on that trip? You will be burning a decent bit of calories just being there.
Just have fun or you will regret it.
