Or rather, the dates coincide. I just realized this when talking to a Muslim buddy at the gym, and went home and Googled the dates for both to make sure.
I wonder if the Iranian WL team (and other athletes from Muslim countries) find ways to work around it, or if that would be frowned upon?

Ramadan and Olympics are the same dates this year.
637/390tng/615 - belt/wraps, best gym lifts.
600/370/600 - best competition lifts.
575/330/560 - best competition lifts at 181 raw.
