was 169.5 lbs this am, decided to weigh myself tonight... up 2 lbs.... jeeez..

so anyone here from St Louis? I will be re-locating there sooooon!!!! end of next month. hahah. good times.

I'm finishing up my first cycle of All Pro's Beginner's routine. Next week I'll up my weights 10%. Can't decide if I should continue my cut or eat at maintenance for the duration? This cut/deficit thing is getting harder. I did not reach my goal of 160 lbs yet. Either way, I still need to put on some mass. so I think at least maintenance for Cycle 2.

haha, since I'm moving away from California, I plan on eating In-N-Out for lunch every day for the next month. (or at least until i get sick of it) Double double animal style will fit nicely into my diet. IIFYM

My younger bother lives in St. Louis. Not a bad city but it has typical midwest weather patterns. You'll need a winter coat, gloves, scarf, ice scraper, snow tires, a basement home for tornado's, air conditioning for August 100 degree days with 98% humidity, an umbrella, mosquito repellent are you getting the sense that I have spent some time in the midwest as well? LOL.

Actually they have a pretty good place back there to get a good burger. It's not In n Out but it's called Steak and Shake. You'll definitely want to go there when the urge hits. A great place back there to get a sub is Jimmy Johns. Budweiser Clydesdale are stabled there too! My brother tells me the Rams suck lol.

Went for a 25 minute run tonight and weighed myself before and after just to see how much water I should drink when I got back and damn I lost 5 lbs running I was honestly surprised lol I didn't think I sweated that bad. Any rate went out tonight and had a 2 pints of beer and 2 double tall whisky and diet with grilled chicken sandwich on whole wheat and pepper jack while I watch the game at my favorite bar. I didn't order any sides but it came with french fries so I just gave them away and didn't eat one or have a craving too. Just goes to show you that you can still go out and have a good time and be social and still hit you macros and stay within your calorie budget.

    Night everyone.

A great place back there to get a sub is Jimmy Johns. Budweiser Clydesdale are stabled there too! My brother tells me the Rams suck lol.

It's the high rep workouts that kill me. I've been trying to hit my cardio harder to help prepare for it.

My last leg workout for example...
    Superset:
    Leg Press
3 sets of 85 reps: 20 reps with feet at bottom of plate, 20 reps 1 inch up, 20 reps 1 inch up, 25 reps at top of plate
    Barbell Squat
    3 sets of 20 reps

    Resume normal sets:
    Leg Extensions
3 triple drop sets of 12-15 reps
1 burnout set with partial reps

One of the chest/back workouts around week 9-10 I was looking at last night were only two exercises but you end up doing 300 reps for chest and 300 for back.

    171.4. honestly.

I'll find out later today when dom's usually sets in how 20 rep circuits treat me.
Right now I can still feel I lifted but i'm not DOMing at all.

This weekend I have a pile of foundation stones to move so I can hide them under the deck i'm building. LOL!

It's only embarrassing if you had girly weights on the stack and it made no sound dropping.

    lmao.. yeah pretty much it.

This guy talked a little about being married. I told him I'm divorced. He asked if I was back on the dating scene and about my sex life. Seemed enough like locker talk so I replied. Then he said "since you seem to be good with the girls you must be packing a big unit. I've always wondered how I compare to other guys... want to trade pics?"

    back on topic....
Shoulders later today, 25 min cardio. Then I drive about 45 mins one way to my oldest son's last baseball game and another 25 min cardio session when I get back home. It's gonna be a busy day.

    edit:

Lol at all of the above.

WittleBigGuy, I've been slow to give out reps - Nitro and Teluslob have repped me a few times and I haven't been able to get back to them since last August (sorry! ) - so I remember this one clearly. StrongMeat had posted one of his wrestling gifs and in it, one guy had his head in the other guy's cr**ch. My rep the way I remember it - "learning I'm into man on man h0moer0tica, lol. (yes, hetero female)".

That's all I've got on the subject.

    Nice progress, Bama!

    Morning,

I've been successful in eating within my calorie limit throughout this week and it feels pretty good.

Hope everyone is seeing some form of progression.

    Thanks for the motivation!
