    Hey folks,

Just bought ZMA with Theanine True Athlete and L-Glutamine Powder B0dyTech I would like to know if I'll be taking them in right.

ZMA - 1 hr before sleep
L-Glutamine - I'll be taking this with my protein powder after my workout.

    Thanks in advance!

Your dosing schedule is fine. I don't know what particular benefits you are looking for, but this schedule should help you recover a little faster and get better sleep. Making sure your diet is in proper order is much more important, so don't neglect that. Good luck.

This wasn't a smart purchase at all.

    Multi-V = Orange Triad
    Fish Oil = Oximega
    Creatine= Allmax Creapure
    Beta Alanine= Allmax BA
Protein: Protean, Trutein, Allmax, Dymatize etc

This would of been a overall better purchase.

    I currently have

    Creatine
    ON Whey/Combat
    Fish Oil

The L-Glutamine was only $5. I don't know if I'm deficient in zinc. But I noticed that I'm gaining muscles very slowly even if I'm lifting heavy. In 5 months of working out, I think I only gained 5 lbs. I've been eating a lot of healthy foods as well. Maybe because of my age, I read the T decreases starting at age 30.

1-2 lbs a month is what you should be gaining if you're not overeating.

I gained 5 lbs in 5 months. So I'm doing it right then. However for the past few weeks, I've been staying up late to get up to speed at work. I went down to 140-142 lbs

I already opened the glutamine. I already have whey protein. I had ON Whey before and currently have Combat. I want to try oral steroids now just to get rid of this stubborn fats in my stomach. I've been monitoring the fats around my navel by pinching it. It's still friggin 1 inch thick. I am worried that even if my weight goes down to 120-110 lbs, I don't think I will see my abs. In elementary, highschool and college, I played basketball/soccer daily(2 to 3x a day). However, I don't remember seeing my abs. Looking at my 2 kids(12 and 10) stomach now, they're skinny but I don't see any abs muscles at all. I'm becoming desperate.

Right now, I can really feel my six pack abs. I can really tell the shape is awesome. However the fats is covering it.

Glutamine, zma, PH's for losing fat? You need help in a bad way my friend. You shouldn't even consider steroids anyways since you can't even calculate your diet from macros to lose body fat...

I personally love ZMA just because of the sleep. And I personally feel a difference with ZMA. As with L-Glutamine, I want to say I feel a difference when I used to take it but I honestly can't tell.

I know how to lose weight but like what I mentioned on the other post, losing weight will still not allow me to see my abs. I was very very active in sports in elementary and highschool and even college(soccer and basketball), but never did I see my abs at 90 lbs.

Weird. Just weird. Caloric defecit and cardio would be the choice but u are already complaining ab a pound a month of gain so I don't know what to advise u to do. It seems like its really got u worried the way u are talking ab ridiculous measures u may take. But hey, maybe some Genomyx Evicerate or something along those lines, smolder, etc would help with what u are trying to do? Just a thought of something to check out.

Thanks deejelkins! I like to gain but I'm so worried that I will never be able to remove the fats in my stomach. Because even at this point, I'm only 142 lbs, I could hardly remove it. I never saw abs in my entire life even if I am addicted to sports. In highschool and college, I played basketball soccer a lot. I won't forget it because while we were on the field, one guy asked us to show our abs. I laughed at my teammate because I saw his six packs. At that time, I didn't pay attention to it. The first thing that came into my mind was that he is malnourished. I'm really skinny those years maybe 80-90 lbs but never had six packs. I'm beginning to think it could be genetics. However, I'm also shocked because I have a better chest now as compared to before, it was caved in.

Also, my friend told me that I have a low body fat about 10% because he saw my veins popping out on my bicep as well as a little on chest. It's just that friggin fat in lower lower stomach!!! Not sure if what my wife told me is true. She told me that the reason I get fats there is that I seat down after I eat heavy. I think it's bullsh|t.

as i understand you are complaining that you are gaining muscle too slow and complaining tht u can't lose fat ? it is one or the other my friend. either gain or lose. you can't do both at the same time. how about concentrating on losing at the moment ? what is your calorie intake per day ?

I take L-Glutamine for my stomach and recovery issues as it really seems to help out. I guess it helps repair the lining of your stomach from all the acids burning a hole in it....sounds fantastic and funny enough, I don't ever get sore anymore and I don't know how much more I could push myself at the gym. I am like a madman around there, lol!

Most will say it is useless in the gaining of muscle and whatnot....

look at this: http://www.leighpeele.com/body-fat-p...nd-percentages and decide if you look like 10%bf. 10%bf can be on the cover of the magazine and at the moment i don;t think anyone would want to see you there (no offense)

i'd say you are around 20% (judging by your april's pic)

ok, 17% then ? but no way 10%.

so there, we found the problem: he was wrongly adviced that he is 10% and expected to find abs, but in fact he is 17%, with fat covering the abs.
so ... cut the calories, get some caffeine tablets and jump on the treadmill to shed those pounds ...

and i'll ask V1RT once again: what is your calorie intake ?

    15.5% Deal ?

anyway, abs fat is the most stubborn fat EVER (lower abs fat even more stubborn ). it is the last place body be dropping fat really annoying and the only thing that works is calorie deficit and exercise.

Wow! Didn't know that the stubborness of that fat applies to all of us!

Ok, I'm happy with that 15.5%, hehehe That's the value I'll use.

Yup, I'm in now way 10 until I saw that link that was posted above. I'll rep that guy

so there, we found the problem: he was wrongly adviced that he is 10% and expected to find abs, but in fact he is 17%, with fat covering the abs.

So maybe my jogging 2-3x a week is not enough. 3 miles per day. I don't run fast, it doesn't make my heart really work similar when I do kipping pull-ups.

and i'll ask V1RT once again: what is your calorie intake ?
From my last calculation since I wanted to gain, I am taking in 2500-2700 cals during workout days.

    maintenance calorie

Ok, I will try again just for 2 weeks. I'll be disciplined on my calorie intake. I'll also do more cardio. What about those abs exercises, should I continue it? I can really feel it and the shape is really nice.

These are the 2 abs exercises I do. Are they enough?
    crunches
    leg raise for low abs

Oh, what are some really good cardio exercises that you can recommend? I have the p90x dvd but haven't used it.
