Does anyone think the jams are the result of stupid people? You know how like traffic slows to a crawl even when the crash isn't on the road. All these dumbasses ahead of you have to slow down and have a look at the crash.
I rep back all Heavenly Blessed Beauties. Rep me to find out if you are the most gorgeous thing that I have ever set my eyes on. My life has now changed and I am now a better person because of you. I look forward to waking up every morning so I can bask in your everlasting glow. Love is an understatement and all words are too vague to express the love I have for you. Your genuine innocence and love is an inspiration to us all!

It's extremely disturbing but in all reality this can happen just about anywhere with crowds. Once panic sets in it's a slippery slop that cannot be contained.
What really gets me about it is just that fact. Just knowing that if people wouldn't panic (I know easier said then done) the majority of that could've been avoided

so sad Of course its easy to say don't panic but in these situations its dog eat dog mentality and everyone just wants to quickly get out.
There should be no excuse for anything like this happening again.
Reminds me of a video we had to watch when we moved to University accommodation, awares you on how fast something can go up in flames
at 5.56 a guy walks out on fire
Also at 4.20 a policeman is running out and his hair sets on fireLive and let live
not in a crew crew

What was that incident like 2 years ago at some dance festival in a European country?
There was a large tunnel and the stewards at one side were telling people to leave through the tunnel, and the stewards at the other side were blocking people from leaving the tunnel (and still letting more try to enter the event). Loads of people died from the heat/trampled in the tunnel. I remember watching it on the news and just imagining being inside..
Haven't watched OP's video, fuk that the posts in this thread are bad enough

I remember right after this happened, there was a huge crackdown in Boston on the fire codes and room capacity for pretty much every bar and entertainment venue. I believe a lot of places that were previously grandfathered into not being required to be up to code sprinkler-wise were given a short amount of time in which they had to update their fire protection or close their doors. I recall more than a few bar owners that were hurt by this financially, but you can't argue that it would be better to save lives over dollars.
Today, at least in most clubs, they are SUPER strict about no pyrotechnics of any kind. Although I was at a show a month ago where the drummer poured lighter fluid on his cymbals and lit them on fire. I had seen the guy do this before and the fire goes out in a few seconds. Pretty rad trick. But after seeing the Station fire video, I stay fairly cautious when I see dudes pulling tricks like that.
