Oh ****! That's not good at all. I didn't have a fake. I had someone's old ID that didn't look a thing like me. It never failed me, though.
I'm still pissed at China, btw. They are really jerking me around on my trip. I'm going to be out around $750 for a "free" trip because they refuse to give me a decent flight so I'll have to pay extra nights at the hotel just to get in at a decent hour and have time to see anything at all.

It's not a few kids, either. I think like 17 have been arrested and 30 more are under investigation. Crazy!
Another stupid kids story. The middle school complex has had a rash of bomb threats written on the walls of the bathrooms. They caught one kid, kicked him out of the school district and he's in trouble with the police (it's a felony). Since then, they are happening again. The kids can only use certain bathrooms in the buildings, and they are installing security cameras outside of them. Come on, they caught one kid, expelled him, and are charging him and someone else things it's a cool idea?
It really makes you wonder how these kids are being raised.https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=17995794

I am terrified of what's to come when Kadyn starts school.
If I didn't think we'd kill each other, I'd homeschool him.
I am equally split worrying about what HE will do and what OTHERS will do to him.
School is way more fukced up that when I was there.DAYUM!!!

It's not really how they're being raised. Or it's probably not, anyway. I'm not sure I would think to tell Jack not to buy a fake ID from China. I will, when the time's right discuss the need to keep your private information private. But, just from experience, I can tell you that kids at that age think they are bullet-proof. There's a narcissistic time for all young adults. It's part of their mental growth. Even if the parents had warned kids of the dangers of identity theft, I doubt they would have heeded it because at that age most kids think it won't happen to them. Teenagers, in general, are far dumber than we give them credit for. Even the really smart ones that seem like they've got it all together.

I don't know. Every time someone writes a bomb threat on the wall, they email the parents and remind them it's a felony and they will be expelled. I have a squeaky clean kid and I talked to him about the consequences and made sure he understood how severe it is. Yet they have been happening all year. Almost every day. I have to believe those parents have checked out.
The fake ID thing is just stupid. Though, obviously at least one of them has an idiot for a parent since a father wired the money for his kid.https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=17995794

I second this.
I did a few incredibly stupid things when I was a teenager. Like so stupid I am lucky to be alive. And I very much knew better but I did it anyway.
It wasn't even that I thought I was bullet-proof, I just acted on impulse. My rational brain caught up after the fact.
And I was one of those really smart ones that seemed like I had it all together.
I cannot believe the father wired the money. That just blows my mind.
You would think he just go to the beer store for these kids. That seems like a much more logical action than wiring money to effing CHINA.DAYUM!!!

Ha ha. Me too. Aside from a little liquor experimenting in Junior High (in which I never got drunk) I didn't have a real drink until after I was 18. I didn't go to the bars until then either.
Me too!!!
Yay for spring in Alberta! I get off work early today, and the snow is perfect for snowballs and snowmen. Woot!Mrs. Hessunit as of May 11, 2013

I did just about everything and anything I thought I could get away with when I was in high school, except for drug use. For whatever reason I never wanted to even try drugs.

I stayed away from anything that would bring major trouble - vandalism, etc. I'd never risk a felony. Especially not for something as stupid as writing on a bathroom wall.

I am a TRUCKER. And not remorseful about it AT ALL.
I'm honestly surprised at how well I've done around the boys. I think I've only muttered a quiet 'shiit' around them a few times and the only time Kadyn has sworn is when he's mispronounced something.
Like when he sings 'Funky Town.'
Same.
I did some stupid shiit but I had a line.
I always asked myself: Could I get strip searched for this?
Even if it was a maybe, I wouldn't do it.
I did get busted for shoplifting. But that's the worst thing I did, legally speaking.DAYUM!!!

Kevin is the swear patrol. I say the word ass (which I use frequently) and he gasps and says "Mommy, you said a swear word!!!!!!!" I told him I was an adult and could swear. He asked if he could swear when he was an adult. I told him when he had a job, mortgage, car, family, he could swear, too.
He does this a lot during songs. At least half the time he heard it wrong and they didn't swear.https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=17995794

Kadyn does the same when we say things like 'stupid.' Those are his swear words. I hope it stays that way until at least Junior High.
Wishful thinking.
A few weeks ago Kadyn heard someone on TV talk about some folks. He says to me, "Mama, what are fucks?"
That child is full of good stuff.DAYUM!!!
