On a serious note, I don't like attention whores of ANY kind. It just so happens that some gays are attention whores. Nobody likes an attention whore...unless they feel sorry for them or something or are part of the "attention whore team."

3. Everybody's different, get used to that.
4. I think the majority of the guys on the Misc. are just having fun and goofing around; gays are targets of that humor just like everyone else.

There's probably some hate.

I think mostly it's confusion. Most guys start thinking about girls and sex from a pretty young age. Matter of fact, it's all we think about most of the time.

So the idea that a guy is into other dudes just doesn't compute. It's just not in our area of thinking, so it's absolutely confusing as to how it could happen.

Unfortunately, a lot of guys act out on that confusion with insults and anger. For most of us, we don't hate gays, but we'll never understand how a guy can be into other guys.

Racism has come about because a certain person was born that way, they cant change it.

that's not really a fair comparison. People who hate on black peopl are racist. I am asking if you think all people that are intollerant(sp?) of gay people are afraid that they are gay or insecure in their sexuality.

Are you aware a recent thread here in the Misc. made me realize just how strong the hate is for homosexuals. What the hell is up with that?
