Well If I'm well aware of who's been me/on my side like I should be when I drive, I would swerve, hit the breaks, something. What I wouldn't do is keep going straight as someone is screaming stop.

The three people in the white car (Hyundai Azera) that got onto the freeway the wrong way died. The rest survived with minor (the couple in the camera car) or critical (driver of truck) injuries.

Came in to post this.

Apparently the car that hit the truck initially had just gotten into a car accident, and the driver had blacked out, which explains why it came into the adjacent road.

This reminds me of an incident when I was young.

I was in the car with my family, Father driving, Mother in front seat, sister and I in back. We were driving behind a truck. A large chunk of metal about 1.5 metres long fell from the truck and in less than a second my dad swerved to avoid it. Not sure what damage it would have done, we were on a motorway though (highway) and driving at 70 mph so it would have smashed the windscreen and done lots of damage, possibly killing the parents, maybe I would have been safe as I was in the back. If he hadn't swerved though, it would have collided directly with the windscreen.

You can see the ****ing car that causes the accident veering to the wrong side of the freeway 5 seconds before the accident and it takes place right at a freeway intersection where you should be on full alert for any kind of idiotic hazard.

If you're worth a **** as a driver you should not end up in the accident as the trailing car in that situation.
