They're not that huge. I've tried a few different bluetooth headphones and these are by far the most comfortable. I'll take some earmuffs over a chord that constantly gets hung up on bars/weights any day.

Have you tested the range of the bluetooth yet?

I doubt that you'll be able to leave your phone in your locker because the range on bluetooth devices can be pretty shotty.

I've already tried it in my locker. Still works fine. Website says 50'. I'll have to test it out one of these days. But I've left my phone in the house and been out in the driveway and it still works. That's got to be close to 50'
