This right here blows my mind. I've seen this before. If this is true then so wow. SO WOW. I've always wondered like "What if we were just some microscopic existence for a much larger existence? And what if the things we call atoms are their own living systems??" I've thought this way since HS. So when I saw this image it BLEW MY BRAIN

OP does need to learn to science more
hell even just learn the small angle formula
and also knowing a given speed of a wave how long it takes to reach us we can figure out the distance
so many other things i wont start"it's alright man, you can laugh. I laughed when you walked in" - Jay Cutler

not a farmer so nope, id like to think knowing these things i can help contribute someday to advancing mankind though. wtf do u do in colorado? just ski/snowboard smoke pot... hike a mountain? after a while that sure does get boring
after climbing Longs peak about 3 times and doing a quite a bit of backpacking i dont do that anymore"it's alright man, you can laugh. I laughed when you walked in" - Jay Cutler

Why is everyone getting so mad up in here?
The evidence supports inflation and the big bang for now. We have data from as early as 300,000 years after the big bang (Cosmic microwave background) when matter density was low enough for photons to escape.
No one says the big bang is 100% true. Science is ever evolving with new phenomena and evidence being discovered. The problem arises when people forget that or don't understand it.

so many retards in the misc my mind cannot comprehend.....
actually that is incorrect. The reason we have not gone past the moon, at least in the u.s. case is because Nasa is not supplied enough money to fund a trip past the moon. If the u.s. government wanted to put more funding into nasa we would be at mars by now. Compared to the amount of money the u.s. government spends on other things nasa's cost to the u.s. is about 0.1 of a penny to a dollar
we went to the moon on computers less powerful than your cellphone

This video may put things into perspective for certain people.
I don't think we have the universe figured out yet.
Another great video to expand your thinking.
I'm not knocking physic or quantum mechanics, i'm simply saying that even though we have a bunch of equations that can explain certain things, we still DON'T know what THIS is.... WHAT THE FUK ARE WE A PART OF???

In everyday use, theory means a guess or a hunch, something that maybe needs proof. In science, a theory is not a guess, not a hunch. It's a well-substantiated, well-supported, well-documented explanation for our observations. It ties together all the facts about something, providing an explanation that fits all the observations and can be used to make predictions. In science, theory is the ultimate goal, the explanation. It's as close to proven as anything in science can be.

which sux... b/c the earth will most likely maximum be around for another 5 billion years (thats not very long in the grand scheme of things)
thats not to include oh an asteroid hitting us... or a gamma ray burst hitting us, giant solar flair, black holes, anything like that that will destroy humans as a species and there goes us ever eternally being in the universe if we dont learn these things and advance to move past our earth."it's alright man, you can laugh. What most likely will happen is if anything like that happens is the scientists of Europe will solve the problem. America is falling into a deep **** hole when it comes to Science and Mathematics hence why most of miscers in this thread have gone full retard, look where the majority of them are from

this... 500 years ago we thought the earth was flat...
3000 years ago we were 100% sure that there were tons of different gods for different things, and gods controlled rain, droughts, storms, etc etc
i believe in 500 years we will have a new and more accurate idea of how the universe was formed, and hopefully less/no religion overall

It's interesting. As you learn more and more about the universe. You begin to realize its almost just a series of repeating patterns, some on a smaller scale, some on a larger...
You'll find even more stuff like this, of two entirely separate things that look almost identical..
Gonna try and find some of the other one's I've come across

It's really out there but I remember reading a theory about how black holes could be portals into other universe's. Made me realize how little we know. We know the basics of things. But we don't actually know the details. We know black holes more or less suck matter into it. But we don't know why, or if there's something on the other end, or if they have some sort of purpose. So excited to see the future breakthroughs in science and space...
