Bfast- doubled the serving of my keto french toast, and added 1.5 tsps of baking powder, ended up tripling the total amount of "toast" I got out of it. The are extremely sensitive to heat, and got crispy on a few sides, but are my new favorite breakfast treat :-)

lunch- leftover lazy wanna be-ef stroganoff and leftover chicken thigh. Not enough of each individual to make a real full meal

Woke up with both my shoulder and hammie still bothering me, short on money and really don't want the doctor to tell me something I already know, but it's really starting to bother me.

Man, im sorry to hear about your shoulder. When I moved into my new place (last october) I slept on a hand me down couch...I ****ed up my shoulder by SLEEPING on it. It hasnt been the same since. Just recently, I felt comfortable enough to move to 15 lb dbs on lateral raises....15!!! Ive been weight training for a year...but my shoulders have been neglected as I didnt want to injure it further.

I feel your pain man. + no money for a doc either.

Good call brochacho. The gym will be there tomorrow, and the next day and the next.

If you can...take some ibuprofen, but take it on the CLOCK according to directions for like 4-5 days. I dont advocate abusing any sort of pain med, but for anti-inflammation, I think it is miraculous.

But you need to TAKE it for a few days like that...but it does help.

I wanted to add, this advice was from a physical therapist...I have a gnarly wrist injury (computer related) and this is what I was told when it flares up.

Bfast- 3 eggs, 3 sausage .5 oz cheddar
lunch- 6oz pork loin, 3 sausages, was looking forward to leftover chicken and accidently grabbed the fish, total let down, didn't eat it.

Most likely going to skip weights today as I would be doing pulls and cleans, doubt that will be beneficial to my elbow and shoulder at this point. I will be doing hiit and abs though to at least make up for yesterdays skip. I really don't like slipping workouts but it's probably the best thing to do atm

I have returned! and my it has been 9 months since I last did Keto? Holy hell!

Anyways, I started this back up officially Sunday morning, I had to work at the bar yesterday, and was a bit rusty on keto-eating but was as follows!

    Breakfast-

    3eggs
    2 sausage
    1 tbsp evoo

    Lunch-

    2- 1/3# beef patties
    2 slices of cheddar
    jalapenos/tabasco

    Dinner

    1/2 # of cheddar wurst

It was rough, usually after the bar, I have a few beers, but stuck to only water, coffee, and tea when working. So first day was a minor hurdle I got over, and falling back into line with keto

Just a little background, I stopped doing keto because I had to start working out due to a few back to back injuries I was having, also was having an issue with my carb-ups, in which I would swing 10-15 pounds in the course of 36 hours, which was extremely rough after watching myself lose it all during the week.

But not to be worried I'm back!

    Day Two

    Day Two:

    Breakfast-

    3 eggs
    3 slices bacon
    1 tbsp evoo
    .25 oz pepperjack

    Lunch-

    Tuna in water
    1 tbsp evoo
    1/2 haas avacado

more to come running late, post back here later!

As always, comments, concerns, and tips I've missed out on in the last 8-9 months would help!

    edit-

    dinner-

    7 oz burger 80/20
    2 oz pepperjack
    1 tbsp evoo
    1 tbsp mayo
    1 slice bacon
    2-3 cups romaine/iceberg
    2 pieces asaparagus
    2-3 tbsp ranch

    TOTALS

Calories Carbs Fat Protein Cholest Sodium Sugars Fiber
    TOTAL: 2,343 15g 199g 124g 819mg 3,111mg 4g 8g

    OVERVIEW:

-Looking at 7 net carbs on my 2nd day.
-Would like to lower my sodium to below the 3k allowance
-Would also like to lower my cholesterol, but 525/819 mg came from the lone 3 eggs I had.
-Not a bad start to my second day.

    QUESTIONS:

How are people fitting natty peanut butter in their day? Its got on average 8 carbs (3g of sugar) for 2 tbsp, that isn't very much and if i'm not careful I could eat spoon fulls of that **** in minutes!

finished the day off pretty well, at least i thought so. Ate some french onion soup, no bread. Didn't realize there are so many carbs in a damn onion. Day's totals are below!

Calories Carbs Fat Protein Cholest Sodium Sugars Fiber
    2,317 42g 177g 146g 913mg 4,042mg 24g 10g

    net carbs- 32 g

looking over it again, the slim jim i decided to hace one had 4 carbs not the 11 it says on MFp, so less than 30g of carbs still!!!

    2-22-12/ Day 4

Pretty good day so far, I went and bought some keto sticks. Tested myself and was only reading at traces. I had a crystal light and a diet coke today. I've been wondering if artificial sweetners had been possibly kicking me out of ketosis, and I think it officially has, so I'll be cutting them out completely. I've already invested so I'll stick to half of a soda at a time

    Workout-

Chest day today. db bench, db incline, db flys, and tri's
Cardio- 10 min warm up, not my usual thing mainly because i forgot to put my under armor on, and my underwear was riding up on me hardcore.

    Nutrition info to follow.....

    bfast-
3 eggs over easy, 3 slices bacon, 2 oz. pepperjack

    snack-
3c romaine lettuce, 3 tbsp ranch

    lunch-
4 oz steak, romaine lettuce, ceasar and ranch dressing (went to lunch with coworkers and this seemed the best option)

    snack 2-
    jack links jumbo pack

    dinner-
5 chicken legs, with franks hot, and 3 tbsp of ranch

Calories Carbs Fat Protein Cholest Sodium Sugars Fiber
    3,011 32g 233g 191g 1,368mg 4,913mg 10g 15g net carbs- 17g

Only negative is that I went about 500 cals over today, and jumped out of ketosis not because of carbs but what I believe is the artificial sweetener

Sorry everyone it's been awhile! So far keto has been going pretty well. I've come across a new diet called Paleo, which is a twist off keto it sounds, where you can incorporate more vegetables/fruits.

Today's entry as follows, I went a bit high on carbs today, I'm addicted to this zevia drink.
