Oh, I do agree with you there Amris. Casual sex will most likely ruin a friendship/relationship. IT is not that kind of bond, as u stated, that you would receive from a commited relationship.
Also, it is nice to see a religious person discussing how sex is natural in a relationship, and just discussing the side of how horrible it is to have it before marriage.
I do agree it is natural, and draws u closer to the person you are with. ALSO, while this isn't the largest factor, it does kind of give you a perspective as to what your sex life with this person may be, if u r 2 spend the rest of your life with this person. Thanks For the replies Amris..

You're welcome, but to be clear, I am not a christian anymore.
I have other spiritual beliefs, but they don't include the concept of "sin" as christians teach it.First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out -because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out -because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out -because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me - and there was no one left to speak for me.

It's not like an atheist or something is it!?.. I'm not atheist but i, i'm sure like urself, I don't believe everything bad, like swearing, or sex and stuff, is all going to send you to hell.where as a true religous person would think otherwise. I'm assuming that's kinda what ur based upon.... My belief, as long as I believe in God, things are good.. IMO.

No, I'm neither agnostic nor athiest. I have a concept of "higher power" (complete with a specific concept of it) and I have a concept of "this is moral and that is not". I have a concept of what happens if you choose to live an immoral life, and what happens if you don't.
As a previous christian, I will say that what I believe is close in part to christianity, yet there are fundamental differences that make the two beliefs completely incompatible.First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out -because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out -because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out -because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me - and there was no one left to speak for me.

For me, my connection with a woman is really more a function of the conversations we have; to what extent we really identify with each other. The sex is just an extention of that preexisting intimacy. Without that built in advance, sex is just physical pleasure, and has no impact whatsoever on what sorts of bonds I can form. I can enjoy it for its own sake, if I am of a mind to do so.
Just because I've phoned out for pizza doesn't mean I can't cook.
