Like many others before me I tried cutting multiple times and failed miserably each time. At one point I was convinced that being lean was simply a matter of genetics. It wasn't until I did a lot of research and separated the bull**** from the real scientific facts that I started getting the results I wanted. Anyway, here are my results so far.

Thanks for the comments guys. For those of you who want to know the details here's sort of an outline of my diet.
High protein: Around 1.3 g/lb. of body weight.
Carbohydrates: Cycled depending on the day. I never totally cut out carbohydrates (I'm not really a fan of cutting out any macronutrient completely).
Fat: Usually a low to moderate fat intake.
Cardio: Rarely ever done.
Calories: I was eating 1700-2000 calories depending on the day and I was losing weight pretty quickly. I need around 2,300-2,400 calories to maintain my body weight.
The most important thing that I learned during this whole process is to be practical on a cutting diet. It wasn't the calories, macronutrients, etc. (although they were obviously very important) because unless you can actually follow a diet plan it really doesn't matter how good it looks on paper. In my opinion being somewhat practical on a diet is a huge part of success.
