I'd say......Florida
Dry heat, I can take...humid heat...urgh.
I've lived in California, Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico, I've visited....Texas...XD
Out of all of these, I think personally I'd be happiest back in Las Vegas, Nevada. Why, you ask? Because it was convenient. We lived reall close to Henderson, and as soon as you entered the town there was Trader Joes, and then, within a sqaure (Literally, make all left turns and you'd go everywhere) There was a Wild Oats, Petsmart, TJMaxx, a good Burlington Coat Factory, and a Good Will. Down the next road was a Big Lots, a Savers (Got so much awesome stuff there <3) a Home Depot and a Lowes. Down the next street was a Wal-Mart, Petco, And a Costco. Down the next was a mall with all the good stores (MACY'S And Robinsons.May, JCPenny, a KBToys (What, I still need my LEGO fix even at 21 XD) a Ross, Target, Borders, and a fitness store.
Although, I do miss Tucson Arizona, they had this WONDERFUL used bookstore named Bookmen's. That's where we bought so many VHSs of old movies that made my youth, and they also sold video games. I loved taking my games, selling them, buying them, and I'd take all my Bionicle sets into the kid's section and play with them <3
This has made me so nostalgic..."Do you have an erection, man?"
"I just broke a personal record on deadlift."
"And now I have an erection."

Every single person I've met from Wisconsin has been a complete as$hole (srs). I try my best not to pre-judge people, but honestly everyone I've ever met from Wisconsin (raised or just proud of) they have an arrogance about them for whatever reason.
Other than that, Kansas.. drove through there on the way to spring break.. place is literally 5 and a half hours of the same sh!t once you get past the eastern part of the state and until you hit the rockies. Those mountains were a sight for sore eyes.Fitness Journal:

It's a toss up between 2 states for different reasons
Mississippi
Barren flat lands of farms and remnants of Confederate era thinking. Dry counties. Ass hole police officers.
On the plus side Ole Miss is fun as hell, and you can go shoot guns basically wherever you want to.
North Dakota
Barren wasteland of nothingness
Nobody ever even thinks of North Dakota. It sucks so much there was serious talk of re-joining North and South Dakota to just Dakota.
Met one person who went to University of North Dakota, said it was the most miserable four years of his life."Man cannot remake himself without suffering, for he is both the marble and the sculptor."

Just speaking from experience......Lived in San Diego for 22 years. It's nice....all my family is back there. Great place to visit. Cost of living is crazy high. You wait in traffic for an hour every damn day. Look for a parking space every place you go to. No....Cali gun laws are retarded. Worst state in the Union in that regard. Big City in a way that I have everything I need. Pro Football, Baseball. KU Basketball.....great restaurants, concerts. I wouldn't live in Western Kansas that's for sure. Great laid back communities, good schools, people are nice......Great place to live and settle down. My mom's two bedroom house in San Diego just appraised at 450K. I could live in a mansion out here. For a young single guy...maybe not for you. But as you get tired of the rat race and want good value and a great place to raise a family Kansas City is a pretty good option.

Kansas is a great place to settle down. Here $200k gets you a fairly nice 2 story+basement house in a good neighborhood. KC is definitely a big city (massive metro) and Johnson County is probably the nicest place in the state to live considering it's the richest county. Schools are great, KU med school, great road system for the most part. BRB 20 minute to 2 hour drive from LA to Studio City depending on 405.
Now as far as my nightmare state.....brb Mississippi. I was only driving through for 2-3 hours and had the sh!t scared out of me twice. BRB Tupelo ghetto, taking turns waiting in the car while one of us goes to pay for gas/get food. BRB I-22 worst highway I've ever driven on.Check out my blog: http://mrtwosblog.blogspot.com/

That stretch between Lawrence or so until the Rockies was not the most exciting drive.
We stopped in Lawrence, I actually liked Kansas' campus a lot. Was really nice actually IMO.
And yes when you see the Rockies, definitely a tease, but at least you know what is coming on the horizon. Once you get in them, it is very beautiful.Fitness Journal:
