Asexual doesn't necessarily mean that you never have sex. It just means that you're not sexually attracted to either gender. You go through the motions but it doesn't really do anything for you.
I'm not actually asexual, it just feels like it when using hormonal birth control. Pill = absolutely zero sex drive
I guess that's one way to avoid pregnancy
