2600 is new school :P. I had one of those pong games from a garage sale but I wouldn't call that a real game. I started playing real video games on an Odyssey 2, and the family's TI 99 4/a...Parsec FTW!

I have to disagree. Vanilla PVP was terrible. Yes, TB/southshore world PVP could be awesome... but the battleground and honor system was awful. Getting to rank 14 for the full pvp set was the worst grind ever in the game. PVP gear also never scaled so PVE raid gear, especially weapons, were better to wear in PVP than the gear that you worked so hard to get. AVs were a stalemate that could last for hours or days. Classes were much more imbalanced than they are now.... getting 1-shot by pom pyro even if you were wearing the best gear in the game was ridiculous. SL warlocks were unbeatable killing machines in 1v1. Every patch made a new class ridiculously OP... and a lot worse than it is now.

Wow seemed like it was better in vanilla because it seemed so new. In reality its a much better game now.

Having played the previous 2 I had 'realistic' expectations of it.
The campaign was enjoyable albeit monotonous and they overdid the cut scenes.
I can see it getting old fast but in the mean time, nailing those sexy as fukc headshots is great fun

I'm currently enjoying the fuk out of it. Horde 2.0 is badass. The versus is sick. It's a nice change from typical COD and BF:BC2.

I forgot how frantic Gears is. The online is crazy fast paced.

Lol yeah, I remember those 3 hour long AVs at the IBGY/SHGY and DB bridge choke points. I played a 2h sham and grinded to HWL (nolifegg) so 5k WF+FS = ezmode.

In the end, WoW is just a big grind. Quit because it gets boring. Next expansion, reactivate your account because the "new content." Quit after a year. Rinse, Repeat.

Finishing up the new Deus Ex. As a big fan of the original, its not bad. Then I'm gonna take on the Witcher 2...

Other than that, play some other games on Steam, like Dystopia (HL2 mod, older but polished as hell) and looking forwards to Natural Selection 2 yeaaaa boi

3 hours? The first AV on our server lasted like 38 hours.

Played from open beta > AQ40. Quit, came back in BC. Quit, came back in Wrath. Quit and never touching that game again.

Not enough time but too many games. Dark Souls (sequel to PS3 exclusive Demon's Souls) and RAGE are both coming out on the same day next week. -.- And, unfortunately, I'm not getting either. I'm hoping RAGE is as good as it looks.

Vanilla wow was the worst. Bigger waste of time then the current version.

BRB farming months for epic mount
BRB loot lag
BRB cant find 40 people to raid
BRB turtling WSG/AV
BRB farming low level instances for nature resistance gear
tons more examples, the only good thing about Vanilla was out door raid bosses. But then it was frowned upon/illegal to train kazzak up to same faction raid groups.
