So I just started working out im pretty fat atm. I workout almost 7 times a week from 8:30pm to 10-10:30pm. I was wondering which supplement would be best for me if I want to lose weight while gaining muscle. I got the Optimum Gold Standard 100% and ISOPURE zero carbs which one should I use? Plus what base should I use water or skimmed milk? and how many scoops of powder and how much of water or skimmed milk.
Thank you guys

Second this!
No needs for sups to help you lose weight at the moment. If you really are very fat, then just by doing the exercise and eating healthy, you will lose steady weight, weekly!
Then when you start getting leaner, you can start thinking about introducing different things like, cutting things out of your diet, switching up your workout routine and eventually, maybe, fat burners. What good is an action with no purpose, what good is a purpose with no goal?

Wrong.
Milk is healthy, contains good amounts of protein, saturated fats (if non skim) and carbs. Plus contains essential calcium and Vit D, and can contain healthy probiotics. One item in your diet does not deem the entire diet healthy or unhealthy. I drink milk all the time, even when cutting and have not seen any negative effects, nor have many many other people on this site. The ONLY reason you should avoid milk is if you are lactose intolerant, allergic, or do not like the taste.
If you are cutting out milk, you might as well cut out cheese, cottage cheese, whey, casein, greek yogurt, etc. all out of your diet as well. All of which are normally staples in many many bodybuilder's diets.Last edited by deadpool9; 09-08-2011 at 11:17 AM.
There is no spoon.

First of all, if you just started working out you shouldn't work out 7 days a week for almost 2 hours because there's a good chance you'll burn yourself out. If you've been doing it a while and you like it that's fine, but don't do too much all at once or you'll fall off.
How are you using the shakes? Pre/post workout, meal replacement, meal supplement... ?

Nah, I'm lactose intolerant and I imbibe dairy all day long. You see they invented this little thing called the "lactase enzyme", in pill form, that you take with dairy. Woohoo no side effects. Oh, and they even sell lactose-free milk/ice cream/cottage cheese. Science is kewl.
